A major supermarket in Ireland has issued a safety alert about an Own Brand breakfast food.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), Tesco issued the allergen alert about their Free From Bran Flakes (300g, Best Before 26 May 2024) which may contain a small amount of another variant of cereal containing milk and hazelnuts.
These allergens are not declared on the label of the product, which may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk and/or nuts.
