The driver was detected travelling at 195km/h
Gardaí from Buncrana Roads Policing Unit detected a vehicle being driven at 195km/h on the N13 in recent days.
A garda spokesperson said: "The speed limit in that area is 100km/h and the road was very busy at the time. Gardaí conducted inquiries and as a result the driver was arrested and has been charged to appear in court.
"Slow down. Do not risk your life and the lives of others by speeding."
