Gardaí are sending a truck driver two fines 'in the post, before the week is out' for having two dangerously defective tyres.
Local gardaí on patrol this Thursday morning noticed a very worn tyre on a truck as it went by in Dublin’s North Quays.
Upon closer inspection, this was the second dangerously defective tyre on the vehicle.
It’s hard to believe how the driver could have marked these tyres as safe on the trucks’s daily inspection sheet, but he had.
