Gardaí appeal for information on crash on N13

Drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash on the N13 near Drumkeen escaped serious injuries after an incident on June 30.

A driver involved in the collision was able to leave the scene on foot before the emergency services had arrived.

The crash occurred at Callan when a vehicle that had been travelling from the Convoy direction was at a junction to enter the N13 when the collision occurred shortly before 10.30pm. The second car involved had been travelling along the N13 from the Letterkenny direction towards Drumkeen.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and have issued an appeal. It read: “We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 9858530.

“Should anyone have dash-cam footage from that area between 10.20pm and 10.45pm, we ask them to make it available to us, please.”
