LC Packaging, based in Newtowncunningham, will host a major wellbeing event next week.

The event, which will take place at their Colehill premises, is an initiative aimed at promoting better mental and physical health in the workplace and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. It will take place on Wednesday, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

This special event, held on National Workplace Wellbeing Day, invites members of the local community, as well as LC Packaging’s valued customers, to join for a day focused on wellness, connection, and community.

The event will feature inspiring talks on mental health and physical wellbeing, and there will be a variety of fun and healthy games, along with refreshments including hot food, tea, and coffee. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local initiatives, customers, and partners, making it an exciting and valuable occasion for all involved.

Key speakers at the event include Jim Breen, the founder of the global mental health movement I Am Here, former Donegal GAA star Brendan Devenney, Tyrone All-Ireland winner Ronan McNamee, fitness and health expert Maria Rushe, and mental health and wellbeing specialist Noelle McAlinden.

LC Packaging’s Managing Director, Donach Gartlan, shared his excitement for the event, stating, “It’s okay not to feel okay, and it’s absolutely okay to ask for help. At LC Packaging, we’ve worked hard to build a culture where people feel comfortable speaking openly about how they’re feeling.

Our goal is to continue to create an environment where mental wellbeing is prioritised. We’re excited to host this event, which is a natural extension of that vision, and we’re really excited to invite our customers, community, and employees to be a part of it.”

The event promises to be a supportive space where attendees can connect, learn, and take part in activities centered on mental and physical wellness. It will be an invaluable opportunity for people to engage with one another and further the conversation on mental health, creating a stronger, more supportive community.

For those interested in attending, LC Packaging invites you to RSVP by calling 0749156068 or by emailing dgartlan@lcpackaging.com.
