The Ag Ball will be held on March 7 at the Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny
ATU Donegal is hosting the Ag Ball next month in Letterkenny, in aid of Jigsaw.
Held on March 7, at the Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
With the Ag Ball celebrating its fifth anniversary, it's sure to be bigger and better than ever before, and it’s all for an amazing cause: Jigsaw, a charity dedicated to supporting young people’s mental health.
The event is organised by an enthusiastic group of young farmers from the Ag Society at ATU Letterkenny, including Jessica Duncan, Emma Curran Alcorn, Lauryn Hegarty, Caitlin McGarrigle, Shane O’Hara, and Adam Bovaird. These students, alongside hundreds of fellow Ag Society members from all year groups, are bringing this wonderful event to life.
Expect a night filled with fantastic entertainment! David Craig and his band will be rocking the stage, followed by a great DJ to keep the dance floor buzzing. And if you're feeling lucky, be sure to check out the mega raffle – there are some incredible prizes up for grabs, generously donated by local businesses.
As always, the Ag Ball will have a formal dress code, so it’s time to dust off those suits and dresses! The night starts with a drinks reception at 6pm, followed by a delicious three-course meal at 7pm. Whether you’re a seasoned Ag Ball attendee or a first-timer, it’s guaranteed to be a fantastic evening, just like the previous four years.
For ticket inquiries or more info, get in touch with any of the Ag Society members, or reach out to on Instagram at @atu_donegal_ag_society_, or email at agriculturalscience@donegal.atusulife.ie.
“This year, as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Ag Ball, let’s make it an unforgettable night and raise plenty of funds for Jigsaw and its vital work supporting young people across the country,” event organisers say. We can’t wait to see you there! Let’s make it a night to remember!”
