Atlantic Technological University’s Higher Education 4.0 Project will host a lunchtime webinar focusing on ATU’s free online short courses, often referred to as MOOCs, on Wednesday, February 12, at 1pm.

The webinar will include a demonstration on how participants can register for or access one of ATU’s MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) while also highlighting the opportunities available by undertaking one of the courses on freecourses.atu.ie.
ATU’s Head of Innovation OFPD (Online Flexible Professional Development) Gavin Clinch will give a brief overview of the free online short courses.

There will be elevator pitches on several of the MOOCs, namely Social Robotics, An Introduction to Regulatory Affairs, Food Waste & Food Cloud, Workplace Health & Safety Induction, and Introduction to Marketing.

There are now over 40 free courses available on the ATU website – 22 of which Higher Education 4.0 has delivered or contributed to – and these vary from Lean Construction to Fundamentals of Garden Design to Ocean Pollution.
