Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital announce Christmas draw winners

Mr Paddy Rooney, Chairperson of the Friends of LUH, thanked all those who supported the draw either by selling tickets, purchasing tickets, facilitating ticket sales on their premises and sponsoring prizes.

Ed Wickes (Treasurer), Paddy Rooney (Chairperson), Cynthia Fuery (Vice Chairperson), Allen McCrea (Draw Co-ordinator), Ian McGarvey and Dr. Ken Mulpeter (Consultant Geriatrician)

Karl Lynam from Ballybofey won the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital Christmas Hamper Draw.
Mr. Paddy Rooney, Chairperson of the Friends of LUH, thanked all those who supported the draw either by selling tickets, purchasing tickets, facilitating ticket sales on their premises and sponsoring prizes. He gave special mention of Allen McCrea who coordinated the draw. Over €12,500 was raised overall.
All of the money raised will go towards new service development in the hospital. Mr. Rooney wished all the supporters of The Friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and he looks forward to their continued support in 2025.
1st prize - Karl Lynam, Ballybofey (Washing Machine, sponsored by Crumlish Appliances, LK)
2nd prize - Pauric McGarvey, Ramelton (2 nights B&B in Rathmullan House, sponsored by Rathmullan House)
3rd prize - Marie Crossan, Ramelton (Christmas hamper, sponsored by Cosgroves Centra, Mountain Top, LK)
4th prize - Mary Heffernan, Gweedore, Derrybeg (€150 Shop LK voucher).
