Minister Helen McEntee joins Nikki Bradley in Letterkenny ahead of election day

Minister for Justice Helen McEntee joined Donegal general election candidate Nikki Bradley on the streets of Letterkenny, campaigning together ahead of this Friday’s crucial vote.

Walking along the town’s vibrant Main Street, the pair met with local residents and business owners to discuss key issues and highlight Nikki Bradley’s vision for the future of Donegal.

Minister McEntee praised Senator Bradley’s dedication and her impactful service in the Seanad, stressing the importance of electing her to the Dáil to ensure Donegal has strong representation at the national level.

“Nikki has already proven herself as a committed and capable representative in the Seanad,” said Minister McEntee. “But it’s essential that we get her into the Dáil, where she can continue her great work and be a powerful voice for Donegal on the issues that matter most to its people. She is a remarkable candidate with the drive and determination to make a real difference.”

The canvass included discussions on local concerns such as housing, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Ms Bradley also shared her vision for creating more opportunities for young people, supporting small businesses, and improving access to vital services across the county.

“I’m so grateful to Minister McEntee for her support today,” said Nikki Bradley. “It’s fantastic to have someone of her experience and influence walking the streets of Letterkenny with me, listening to the people I hope to represent. I’m determined to be a champion for Donegal in the Dáil.”

As the campaign enters its final days, both Minister McEntee and Ms Bradley emphasized the importance of voter turnout on Friday, November 29.

“This election is about ensuring strong leadership for Donegal and for Ireland,” added Minister McEntee. “Nikki Bradley has what it takes to deliver real results for this constituency, and I’m urging everyone to come out and support her on Friday.”
