The Letterkenny Pipe Band has been granted the opportunity to participate in the Bressuire Highland Games World Championship.

The Championships, which take place on June 15-16, will mark a world first, a Highland Games world championship for mixed national teams.

Eight nations will be represented: Germany, Belgium, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and the USA.

This gathering of diverse nationalities promises to showcase a rich tapestry of traditions and skills, uniting participants from around the globe in a celebration of Highland culture.

The Bressuire Highland Games World Championship will not only be a platform for friendly competition but also a forum for cultural exchange and camaraderie among nations.
