Margaret Teresa Doherty (Painter), Carndonagh

The death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Margaret Teresa Doherty (Painter), Pound Street, Carndonagh.
Deeply regretted by her family, friends and neighbours.
Margaret Teresa will be reposing at her home, Pound Street from 4pm this evening where you are welcome to pay your respects.
Margaret’s remains will leave her home at 7pm Tuesday evening going to Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh to repose overnight.
Funeral at 11am Wednesday May 8, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Nancy Anne Maguire, Donegal Town 

The death has occurred of Nancy Anne Maguire, 2 Glebe Court, Donegal Town, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, after a short illness. Sadly missed by her good friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Tir Conaill Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A, Tuesday May 7 from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.

Leo McClenaghan, Culdaff

The peaceful death has taken place at the Foyle Hospice of Leo McClenaghan, Dunross, Culdaff, F93 F66W.

Beloved husband of Mary Jo; much loved Brother of Veronica and predeceased by his sister Mary, brother Eugene and nephew Gavin Kelly. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister-in-law, sister Margaret Ruddy, Collooney, Sligo and brother-in-law Neil Ruddy, his nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Funeral from his home at 10.30am on Thursday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Bocan, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.culdaffparish.com

Rosemarie McNamee, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Rosemarie McNamee, 8 Ashbrook, Letterkenny, daughter of Eunan and Oonagh McNamee.

House strictly private at the request of the deceased.

Tom Martyn, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Tom Martyn, 9 Cottages, Magheracar, Bundoran. He passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He is sadly missed by his loving wife Veronica, Daughter Andrea, son in-law Anthony, his grandchildren Kyle and Ella and his brother Jimmy, sister-in-law Ann, niece and all extended family, friends and his colleagues at CT electric Sligo. Predeceased by his brother John and Sister Mary.

His remains are reposing at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Rd, Ballyshannon, F94ED21 on Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm.

Removal on Wednesday Morning at 10am from John McGee & Sons Funeral Home to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for cremation.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired to Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust, care of John McGee & Sons Funeral Home.

Fiona Gallagher, Letterbarrow

The death has taken place unexpectedly of Fiona Gallagher, née Wilson, Drimarone, Letterbarrow, F94H2V9.

Predeceased by her father, George, she is sadly missed by her husband William, son Stephen, daughter Sinéad, son-in-law Matthew, mother Ann, sister Lorna, brothers Gene, Kurtis and Seoirse, mother-in-law Susie, sisters-in-law Eilis and Ola, nieces Leah, Amy and Mackenzie, nephews Ethan, Adam and Geordan, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Removal from Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Tuesday at 5pm, going to her late residence, to repose there until 9pm and on Wednesday from 12 noon until 9pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal from there on Thursday going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles for 11am funeral mass, with interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Kathleen McGuinness, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Kathleen Mc Guinness, Drumbarity, Killybegs, F94K8E2. 

Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, son Paul, daughter in law Natalie, grandchildren Seren and Shay, sisters, brothers, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Her remains reposed at her residence.

Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial will take place afterwards in the local cemetery.

Anne Nic Ardghail, Milford and Fermanagh

The peaceful death has taken place of Anne Nic Ardghail, née Collins, Magheradrummond, Milford and formerly of Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh, F92 H1K8, after a long, dignified battle with illness.

Beloved mother to Aoife, Eimear, Padraig and Méadhbh, loving wife to Thomas (predeceased), and sister to Gemma, Josephine, Grace, Marie, Donal and John (predeceased). Anne was always active throughout her life. She was well-travelled, a music-lover, a keen gardener, and talented painter. She touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Requiem Mass in St Peter's Church, Milford, at 11am on Tuesday, Cremation takes place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, on Wednesday at 3pm. Burial of ashes in the family plot in Tully Cemetery will take place at the time of the month’s mind Mass. Nan Conneely, Glencolmcille

The death has occurred peacefully at Donegal Hospice surrounded by her loving family, of Nan Conneely, Cashel, Glencolmcille.

Predeceased by her parents Bridget (Biddy), Thomas Mc Shane and devoted husband John, brother James Patrick and her sister Josephine. Nan is sadly missed by her brother Thomas (Nora), her family Thomas (Suzanne), Anna Marie, Shaun (Paula). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren Tara, Liam, Danielle, Natalie, John, Faith, Bonnie, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Respectfully house strictly private at all times.

Removal to St Columba's Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille last evening travelling via Killybegs. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Barry Mc Laughlin, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Barry Mc Laughlin of Luton, Bedfordshire, England and formerly of Clar, Donegal Town. Barry passed away suddenly on April 21 in the L&D Hospital, Luton.

Predeceased by his father James, he is sadly missed by his children, Chantelle and Danny, his mother Geraldine, sisters Siobhan (Eamonn) Arlene (Jay) and brothers Seamus and Sean (Melanie), nieces and nephews and extended family.

Cathal Friel, Carlow and Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Cathal Friel, Killinure, Tullow, Carlow and Mountcharles, Donegal. He passed away on  May 1 at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Cathal is predeceased by his loving wife Sarah (Sally), brother Conn and sister Marion. Loved and cherished by his daughters Annie and Mary, his sons-in-law Simon and Johnnie, grandchildren Chelsea, Sara-Ann and her partner Jonathon, Laura and her husband Cormac, and Michael, great-grandchildren Zara, Aria and Noah, his brothers Liam, Dan and Eamon and sister, Sr Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

His remains are reposing at his residence (R93 AH59) on Tuesday from 12 noon to 9pm. House private thereafter please.

Funeral arriving to St Finian’s Church, Kilquiggan, R93 R729, on Wednesday for 12 noon Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest with Sarah in Kilquiggan Cemetery.

Hugh Coyle, Western Australia and Buncrana

The death has taken place in Bullsbrook, Western Australia of Hugh Coyle, late of St Columba’s Avenue, Buncrana.

Brother of Rosemary (Kelly), Brian, Kathleen (McCay), Danny, Eamon and the late Aeneas and Breda (Concannon).

Hugh will be deeply missed by his family and friends here in Ireland, his nieces Brid and Caitriona and their families in Perth and Queensland. His dear friends and neighbours in Western Australia will miss him very much.

Hugh’s funeral service followed by private cremation will take place at Bowra and O’Dea, Funeral Directors, Stirling St, Perth Wednesday at 2.30pm (7.30 am IST). The link to their website is bowraodea.com.au

Michael Gallagher, Ballyshannon and Birmingham

The death has occurred of Michael Gallagher, Birmingham and formerly of 31 Cluain Barron, Ballyshanonn.

Predeceased by his parents Mickey and Dolly, his wife Carmel, son Richard, his brothers Seamus, Jackie, Eugene, sisters Peggy, Anna and Noelle. Sadly missed by his daughters Josephine, Julie, Rosemary, grandchildren, his brothers Cathal, Danny, Brendan, Fergal sisters Sheila Killiea, Regina Ayres, nieces, nephews and all extended family and friends.

Brı́d Fitzpatrick, Glencolmcille

The death has occurred of Brı́d Fitzpatrick, née Murrin, of Malinbeg, Glencolmcille and Erith, Kent on March 28 at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, Kent.

Beloved wife to Bernard, much loved mother to Paul, Anna (Thomas) and Susan (Tim), missed by all her grandchildren, Joseph, Libby, Moya, Áine, Conal and Gearóid, her sister Mary, her loving cousins Carmel and Geraldine, Mark her nephew and all of her many family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Friday, May 10 at 10.30am in Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church Franciscan Friary, Carlton Road, Erith, DA8 1DN.

This will be followed by cremation in Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods Way, London SE92AZ.
