Sally (Sarah) Blake, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Sally (Sarah) Blake, 14, Ard O'Donnell, Letterkenny, F92 H58V on April 9 of retired E.S.B. Officer, in the wonderful care of all the staff of Archview Lodge, Nursing Home, Letterkenny and the Palliative Care team.

Predeceased by her parents Michael (Micky) and Mollie (Larkin), remembered by her family, John, Michael, Alec (Kay) Limerick, nephews Michael (Mary) Leitrim, Paul (Emily) U.K., nieces Breid (Australia), Marie (Rob) Limerick and Karen (Shane) Limerick, relatives, loyal visitors, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her late residence this evening Wednesday, April 10, from 6pm to 9pm and tomorrow, Thursday April 11, from 12 noon to 9pm with Rosary at 9pm on both nights. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass in Eunan’s Cathedral on Friday, April 12, at 11am which can be viewed live at www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.

Francie McCabe, Gweedore

The peaceful death has occurred at his home of Francie Mc Cabe, Curransport, Gweedore. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Nora and his son Patrick. Survived by his wife Margaret, his daughters Sharon, Tina and Noreen, his sons Shaun and Kieran, sons in law Mairtin, Aonghus and Hugh, daughters in law Alisa and Neasa, grandchildren, great grandchild and a circle of family and friends

His remains will be reposing at his residence in Curransport from 5pm this Wednesday evening Wednesday April 10 for family, friends and neighbours.

Rosary both nights at 8pm. Funeral from there on Friday, April 12 for 11am requiem mass in St Colmcille Church, Knockfola F92 D586 with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

House private after Rosary until 11am and on the morning of the Funeral. Mass can be viewed live on Gallagher Funeral Directors facebook Page. Suaimhneas Síoraí dá anam Uasal.

James Allen McClean, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of James Allen McClean, Hawthorn Lodge, Magherabouy, Letterkenny, F92 P86E on Wednesday,  April 10, 2024.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Ann, sons Allen and wife Lisa (Gartan), Stewart and wife Claire (Mountain Top, Letterkenny) and daughter Louise and husband David Magee (Raphoe), grandchildren D.J, Caolán, Caoimhe, Eve and Noa, brothers Frank and John, sisters Rosemary and Sandra, uncles, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

James is predeceased by his parents Allen and Ena. James’ remains are reposing at his late residence on Wednesday, April 10, from 6pm until 9pm and on Thursday, April 11, from 11am until 9pm.

Funeral from there on Friday, April 12, at 1.15pm going to Ray Presbyterian Church, Manorcunningham for Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Medical 3 Ward, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.

Rose McDaid (Wee Rosie), Letterkenny

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Rose McDaid (Wee Rosie), Bomany, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by baby Michael. Sadly missed by her loving husband Alex and children Sylvia (Reg), James (Claire), Dana, Sharon and Alex (Naomi), grandchildren Daniel, Enda, Josh, Kyle, Connor, Ciara, Oran, Alex, Aoife, Aine and Dominic. 

Reposing from her late residence from 4pm today, Wednesday.

Funeral Mass on Friday, April 12, at 2pm in St. Eunans Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery in the family plot. https://www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Julia Mc Laughlin (née Loughrey), Rathmullan

The death has occurred of Julia Mc Laughlin (née Loughrey), 1 O'Callaghan Court, Pier Road, Rathmullan, F92 XF77 on

April 9, 2024, at Curam Care Home, Navan Road, Dublin.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons Charlie and Nigel, daughter Maura, son-in-law David and daughter-in-law Roisin. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Aby, Corey, Rachel and John. Sincerely missed by all her extended family, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by her loving husband John, her brother, John and sisters, Bridget, Mary and Margaret.

Reposing at her home in Rathmullan from 8pm, Wednesday, April 10. Funeral Mass on Friday, April 12, at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Joe Curley, Magherard, Malin

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Joe Curley, Magherard, Malin.

Joe will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his cousin, Margaret McCole, his nieces and nephews, wider family circle, many friends and neighbours.

Joe's remains are now reposing at the home of Margaret McCole, Magherard, Malin F93 H2P7 where everyone is welcome to pay their respects.

Funeral from there on Friday, April 12, at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Patrick's Church, Aughaclay, with burial after in the adjoining graveyard. Rosary both nights at 10pm.
