Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were assisted by the RSA this week
Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were assisted by the RSA this week in advance of the Bank Holiday weekend as they checked lorries/trucks for defects at their daytime and night-time checkpoints.
One truck was taken off the road on Friday pending further enquiries.
Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit arrested a drug driver in the early hours of Saturday morning after they tested positive for cannabis.
“Please always ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition before travelling,” An Garda Siochana posted. “Never drive while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.”
