Thursday's Met Éireann forecast for Donegal will see rain and drizzle throughout the day.
The National Meteorological Service say it will be breezy today with outbreaks of rain or drizzle clearing eastwards at first this morning. Further spells of rain will then move into the northwest, extending southeastwards across the country through the day, clearing the northwest in the afternoon. Dry and brighter conditions in the southeast for much of the day before rain moves in towards the evening. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees with fresh southwesterly winds, strong on Atlantic coasts.
Tonight, rain and drizzle will clear from the south early on tonight. Clear spells will develop overnight, along with a few showers in the north and west. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees with a moderate to fresh westerly wind.
Tomorrow will see blustery with sunny spells and showers, mainly in the north and west at first but quickly becoming widespread. Some of the showers will be heavy with a chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in a moderate to fresh and gusty westerly wind.
