Gardaí from Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in the Letterkenny area in the early hours of Saturday morning when they sized a car.
There was no insurance, no tax, no NCT, the driver was a learner permit holder who was unaccompanied by a qualified driver and no L plates were displayed.
The car was seized and the driver will now receive several Fixed Charge Penalty Notices and they will also face a Court appearance.
“Never take risks when it comes to road safety and do not take to the roads unless your documentation is in order.” An Garda Siochana said.
