Gardaí warned motorists never to drive while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
A man who tested positive for cocaine also his van seized, as it had not been taxed in three years and had no valid NCT.
"With the help of the Active Mobility App, Gardaí from Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit detected a van on Wednesday that had not been taxed in 1,100 days and it hadn't been tested," Donegal gardaí posted. "The van was seized. The van driver was arrested after they tested positive for cocaine. Never drive while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Ensure that your documents are up to date/in order before taking to the roads."
