Gardaí are appealing for information after a man took a taxi to Ashlawn, Letterkenny and became aggressive with the driver and he broke the windscreen of the car before leaving the area on foot.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, February 18 at approximately 4:40am.
“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in the area of Ashlawn around that time who had a dashcam to make the footage available to gardaí,” Garda Shaun Sweeney said.
“If anybody observed this man on foot, we asked them to make contact with us also. Gardaí in Letterkenny may be contacted on 074-9167100.”
