The death has occurred of Sr. Loreto (Breida) McKean, late of Abbey House, Rathfarnham and Falcarragh.
Peacefully on February 14, 2024. In the loving care of the staff in St James’ Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Columba and Kathleen McKean, her brother John and sister Maureen. Deeply regretted by her Loreto Community, her brother Brian, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her wide circle of friends.
Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham from 3pm - 5pm on Thursday, February 15.
Evening Prayer at 4.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday February 16 at 10.00am in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham followed by burial in Abbey House Cemetery.
Hughie O'Donnell, Ballina, Co Mayo and formerly Kincasslagh
The death has occurred of Hughie O'Donnell of 34. Roches Tce. Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Braade, Kincasslagh, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Hughie predeceased by his wife Mamie, son Brian, his parents, brothers, and sisters.
Beloved father of Frankie Ginty (Corrimbla South), Anne Reape (Knockmore), Padraic (Ballina). He will be sadly missed by his daughters and son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law James Reape, daughter-in-law Pauline O’Donnell, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Friday evening, February 16, from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina arriving for 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11.30am with funeral proceeding to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina for burial.

George Peoples, Leatbeg, Ballyherrin, Fanad
The death has occurred of George Peoples, Leatbeg, Ballyherrin, Fanad, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his wife Anne and their children Ruth Adams (Drumlegagh, Co. Tyrone), Andrew and Judith Whiteside (Belfast). Much loved grandfather of Peter, James, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Leah, Ryan and Aidan. Sadly missed by John and Pearl Scott, sons-in-law Maurice Adams and Jaimie Whiteside and daughter-in-law Reba, his extended family, neighbours and his many many friends.
George's Funeral Service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Church in Rossnakill, Fanad, at 2pm on Friday, February 16. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

The death has occurred of Willie (Cool) McCallig, Five Points, Killybegs, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Predeceased by his father (Gerry). Willie be forever loved and dearly missed by his adoring Mother Teresa (née Dunne), cherished siblings Danny (USA), Annemarie (USA), Mary, Gerard (USA), Michelle and his treasured nieces and nephews, his girlfriend Zoe (USA) and great friends in Ireland and USA.
Remains reposing at the Five Points, Killybegs on Wednesday from 2pm to 9pm. House private at all other times please. Removal on Thursday at 12.30pm to St. Mary's of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for funeral mass at 1pm followed by burial afterwards in Bruckless Cemetery. House private to family and close friends on the morning of the funeral.

Mary Brennan, Dublin and formerly of Hillhead, Ardara
The peaceful death has occurred of Mary Brennan, Beggars Bush Court, Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, formerly of Hillhead, Ardara.
She will be sadly missed by her brother, Josie Brennan, Hillhead, Ardara; her sisters, Sister Angela Brennan, New York and Sally Rodohan, London; her nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by her brother, Raymond Brennan.
Remains reposing at McCabes funeral home, Common, Ardara on Wednesday February 14 from 12 noon until 6pm, followed by removal from there at 6.15pm going to the Church of the Holy Family Ardara for 6.30pm to repose overnight.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Removal yesterday from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny, to her late residence.

The death has occurred of Sadie Harkin of Rinboy, Fanad and Coatbridge, Scotland peacefully at Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken partner Seán Din Friel, her loving sisters Margaret, Rose, Moira and Frances, her beloved brother Daniel, her niece Cara, her nephews Martin and Declan and her great-nephew Fionn.
Predeceased by her parents Con Harkin and Catherine (Duffy) Harkin and her nephew Kieran.
Removal from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny at 4pm on Thursday February 15 going to her late residence Rinboy, Fanad (F92 H9Y1).
Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, February 18 at 11am in St Mary's Church, Fanavolty with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
John McCool, Stranorlar and formerly Derry City
The sudden death has occurred at his late residence of John Mc Cool, 562 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar, and formerly Derry City. Sadly missed by Marie, much loved father of Kieran, Rachel and Katie, cherished brother of Margaret (Derry), Veronica (Derry, Frances (Derry), Maura (Derry), Frank (Derry) also the late Ann and Jacinta. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by Marie, son, daughters, brother, sisters, and extended family, and friends.
Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey on Wednesday February 14 from 5pm to 10pm. Rosary at 9pm. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday February 15 at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar. Interment in Drumboe cemetery.
