Joe Campbell, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Joe Campbell, 25 Gaelic Park Drive, Bundoran, January 22 2024, suddenly, at his late residence. Beloved father to Lisa, Emma, Luke, Leonie and Dane.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving sons, daughters, their partners, his beloved 9 grandchildren, sisters Sue and Judy, and all his many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, home carers and friends.

Reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F, on Thursday evening, January 25, from 5pm to 7pm, all welcome. Removal from his late residence on Friday morning, January 26, at 10.30am to arrive at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran, for Celebration of Life Service at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Family flowers only, please, donations, in memory of Joe, to The Irish Wheelchair Association care of donation box at Funeral Home or by post to Donal Breslin at Breslin's Funeral Home, Bundoran.

Jack Kitchener, England and Frosses
The death has taken place of Jack Kitchener formerly of the Cranny Road, Frosses, and England, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Brindley Manor Nursing Home Convoy. Will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

May Jack Rest in Eternal Peace. Funeral arrangements later.

Mary Ita Boyle, Letterilly, Glenties

The death has occurred of Mary Ita Boyle, Letterilly, Glenties at The Harbour Lights Nursing Home of Mary Ita Boyle (nee Harkin) Letterilly, Glenties. Predeceased by her husband Brian.

Sadly missed by her daughter Eileen, son in law Cambell, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will repose at her residence from 3pm today. Funeral from there on Thursday morning at 11.15am to St Conal's Church, Glenties, for 12noon Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Harbour Lights Nursing Home Comfort Fund c/o any family member.

Michael Cunningham, Largy, Killybegs
The peaceful death has occurred, at the Donegal Hospice, of Michael Cunningham, Largy, Killybegs, Co.Donegal. Sadly missed by his loving wife Michelle, son Michael, father Mickey Joe, mother Celine, sisters Siobhan, Helena (Pat), Sharon (Gerard) and Lorraine (John), nieces and nephews.

Michael’s remains will repose at Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara. Removal from Shovlin’s Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 10.15am to St. Mary’s of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Clar Cemetery, Donegal Town. Mary Gallagher (née Gallagher) Dublin and formerly Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Mary Gallagher (née Gallagher) Coolmine, Dublin 15 and formerly of Ballymaleel, Letterkenny January 22, 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Swords Nursing Home.

Mary, beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) and much loved mother of Catherine, Neil and Richard. Sadly missed by her loving family, brother Patrick, grandchildren Jack, Samuel and Holly, daughters-in-law Claire and Helen, cousin Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Mary rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Friday evening (January 26) between 6pm and 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning (January 27) to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

May Mulvihill (née Ward), Ballykerran, Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred of May Mulvihill (née Ward) Ballykerran, Kilmacrennan, Donegal, F92 A3Y9, January 21, 2024, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Patsy.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, Gerald, Nigel, Caroline, Fiona, John and Maureen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law Rita, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at her home. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 24, at 11am, in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Jackie (John Thomas) Wilkie, Stranorlar / Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Jackie (John Thomas) Wilkie, Stranorlar, Letterkenny and Gartan. Suddenly in Letterkenny University Hospital. Deeply regretted by partner Kathleen, daughter Emma, son Eoin. Fondly remembered by brother Willie (Gartan) & sister Reba Cullen (Letterkenny), extended family members, neighbors and friends.

Jackie’s remains reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny. Service of Thanksgiving, for the life of Jackie will take place in Eternal Light Chapel of Rest Mountain Top on Wednesday afternoon, January 24, at 1pm followed by Interment in Gartan Cemetery.

Stephen O'Donnell, Mullingar, Westmeath and formerly Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Stephen O'Donnell, Austin Friars Street, Mullingar, Westmeath and formerly Letterkenny, on January 19, 2024 (peacefully) following a short illness.

Predeceased by his parents Fred and Monica, brothers Gregory and Valentine and sister Theresa.

Father of Zoe, Holly and Bruce, grandfather of Kayleigh, Lexi, Logan and James, missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home, Mullingar (N91 K660) on Thursday from 5pm with Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.

Stephen's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11am followed by private cremation. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie.

Paul Coyle, Carraig a' Choill, Ranafast and Gaoth Dobhair

The death has occurred of Paul Coyle, Carraig a' Choill, Ranafast and Luinneach, Gaoth Dobhair.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Maggie Coyle and niece Angela. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, sons David and Conor, sister Grace, brothers Charlie, Hugh, James and John, mother-in-law Sandra Devenney, in-laws and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home on Wednesday from 11am until rosary at 9pm. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, on Thursday afternoon at 1pm, interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Mary Magee, Oran Road, Buncrana

The death has taken place of Mary Magee, who passed away peacefully in Donegal Hospice surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of Liam, loving mother of Clare, Don, Kathryn, Patrick and Lee and adored grandmother of Matthew, Jack, Cian, James, David, Lara and Dan. Mary will be deeply missed by her brothers John and Desmond, sons-in-law John and George, daughter-in-law Vanessa and Lee’s partner Catherine and all her extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at her residence with removal last evening to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday, January 24, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House Private please with the exception of close family, friends and neighbours. Family time from 11pm until 11am.

Family flowers only donations if desired to Donegal hospice. Mary’s family would like to thank the staff of Donegal Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness given to Mary.

Kieran Gallagher, Station Road, Creeslough

The sudden death has occurred of Kieran Gallagher, Station Road, Creeslough. 

Remains reposing at his home. Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough on Wednesday, January 24, at 11am.

John Harkin, The Green, Athlumney and late of Boyerstown, Meath and Killybegs

The death has occurred of John Harkin, The Green, Athlumney and late of Boyerstown, Navan, Meath and Killybegs.

He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 21. John, dearly loved husband of Joan and loving father of Eithne, John, Kevin, Eileen, Conor and Michael. Very sadly missed by his family, sister Anne Cannon, son-in-law Greg, daughters-in-law Ger, Ali and Sue, Conor's partner Anne, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren Emily, Seán, Isobel and Daniel Fulton, Eleanor, Ailish, Rachael, Johno, Julia, Darragh, Kate and Ava Harkin, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Fitzsimons Funeral Home, Canon Row, Navan. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am in St. Mary's Church, Navan, followed by burial in Boyerstown Cemetery. No flowers, please. Donations, in lieu, to Navan Meals On Wheels.

Annie Doogan, née Walsh, Perth, Scotland, Kincasslagh and Crolly

The death has taken place of Annie Doogan, née Walsh, of Perth, Scotland and Gortnasade, Kincasslagh, formerly Ardveen, Crolly.

Annie passed away peacefully at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee on January 16, aged 92. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Jim. She is sadly missed by her children Bridget, Seamus, Joseph, Anne, Charles and David, daughters-in-law Frances, Susan, Peggy and Gill and son-in-law Simon. She was devoted to her grandchildren Caitlin, Jack, Conall, Fergus, Emmet, Ciara, Maria, Niamh, Charlie and James. 

Remains to be received into St Mary Magdalene’s RC Church, Glenearn Road, Perth. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 24, 11am.

Remains arriving in St. Mary’s Church, Kincasslagh on Thursday, January 25 at about 6pm and Mass before burial on Friday, January 26, at 11am.

The family would like to thank all the staff of Ninewells Hospital, Dundee for their outstanding care.

Aiden Garvin, formerly of "Mulroy", Glencar Road, Letterkenny

The sudden death has occurred in London of Aiden Garvin, formerly of "Mulroy", Glencar Road, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Una. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his partner Caron, London; sister Anne (Tim), Galway, brothers Declan, Dublin; Kevin, (Deirdre), Dublin and sister Mary, Letterkenny, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and his wide circle of friends in Donegal, London and beyond.

Reposing at his sister Mary's residence, 32, Meadow Hill, Kiltoy, Letterkenny. Removal from there at 10am on Wednesday,  January 24, going to St. Eunan's Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass which can be viewed live on the link www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny 

Private cremation on Thursday, January 25 at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan​​​​​. Family time please on the morning of the Funeral.

John Patrick O'Shea - Victoria, Australia and Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred of John Patrick O'Shea, Yanakie, Victoria Australia and Kilmacrennan. He passed away on January 14 at Foster Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones, aged 82.

Loving husband of Mary, father to Sarah and Niall, father-in-law to Rebecca and Rowan. Grandpa to Rory and Molly.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fish Creek-Foster Rd, Fish Creek on Wednesday, January 24 at 11am and can be viewed here.

The Funeral will leave at the conclusion of Mass for the Foster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peter Mac Callum Canter Centre would be appreciated.
