UPDATE: All Bus Eireann Expressways to Donegal cancelled due to Storm Isha

The period of cancellation of services has been extended to include Sunday afternoon services

Bus Éireann has cancelled its Expressway services to Donegal as a result of Storm Isha.

It was originally announced that services would only be cancelled from 9pm on Sunday to 1pm on Monday. However, this has since been revised across the 30, 32 and 64 routes, affecting travel from Sunday afternoon. 

The following services are cancelled:

Route 30/30X
13.00 Donegal to Dublin
18.30 Dublin to Donegal
14.30 Donegal to Dublin
16.00 Donegal to Dublin
20.00 Dublin to Donegal
21.30 Dublin to Donegal
01.00 Donegal to Dublin
06.30 Dublin to Donegal – this service will operate from Cavan at 08:35 to Donegal

Route 32
13.20 Letterkenny to Dublin
18.45 Dublin to Letterkenny
20.45 Dublin to Letterkenny will operate to Monaghan only
01.45 Letterkenny to Dublin will operate from Monaghan to Dublin at 03.22

Route 64
17.10 Sligo to Derry will terminate in Donegal Town
19.05 Sligo to Derry
20.30 Derry to Donegal
21.40 Derry to Letterkenny
16.00 18.10 20.15 Galway to Sligo
14.00 16.00 18.15 Sligo to Galway

People travelling elsewhere in the country are advised of cancellations in Mayo and Galway on Sunday, with the full list and updates on the Bus Éireann website.

In a statement issued earlier on Sunday, a spokesperson that that school bus services are likely to run as normal on Monday, but that customers should watch for updates. Local damage could have an impact on school and public transport routes. 

Updates will be posted on the Bus Éireann website as the infomration becomes available.
