An Garda Siochana have reiterated their concerns over the dangerous driving conditions in the county and urged people to be aware of others who might require assistance.
Snow from yesterday and sub-zero temperatures have meant the roads in Donegal are still 'a treacherous condition' with a host of schools closed.
"Many of the roads around Donegal remain in a treacherous condition," An Garda Siochana stressed. "Please only travel if necessary until road conditions improve. Stay safe and check in on elderly/vulnerable neighbours, family members and friends. Alert Gardaí if you feel that somebody is in need of our assistance.
Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo have been issued with the Thursday morning weather warning by Met Eireann, whch is in place until 11am.
