The death has occurred of Francis McCafferty, Belault, Pettigo. Suddenly, at his residence.

Eilish Mc Ateer, née Stack, Rathmines, Dublin and Buncrana

The peaceful death has occurred of Eilish Mc Ateer, née Stack, Ormond Road, Rathmines, Dublin and Grianán Park, Buncrana.

Predeceased by her father Michael Anthony and mother Dorothy, née McCloskey, and her husband John, Tam Timey, Mc Ateer. Deeply regretted by her son Seán, daughter-in-law Sarah and her adored grandchildren Isabel and Sadhbh.

Sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and many friends. Requiem Mass will be held for Eilish in St. Mary's Church, Cockhill, Buncrana, Co. Donegal, F93F9VE on Thursday, January 18, at 11am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired, to Buncrana Parish care of any family member or Mc Ateer Funeral Directors.

John Griffin, Station Road, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of John Griffin, Station Road, Mountcharles F94N6K6.

He passed away peacefully at the Donegal Community Hospital, after a short illness. Predeceased by his loving wife Bridget and son Michael (Angela).
 
Deeply regretted by his sons, Sean (Beth) and Patrick, daughters, Jean Boyle (Bernard) and Mary Boyle (Eugene), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, and extended family.
 
Remains reposing at his late residence. Removal from there on Wednesday, January 17 to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
 
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Patient Comfort Fund, Donegal Community Hospital, care of any family member or Gallagher Funeral Directors.

Hugh Hone, Clogher, Barnesmore, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Hugh Hone, Clogher, Barnesmore, Donegal Town, F94 Y982. Sadly, missed by his wife, Bridie, Rosemary (Tom), Michael (Anna Marie), Breda (Joe), Ann (Brendan), Charlie, John (Mary), Lisa , grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister Margaret and extended family.

Remains reposing at his late residence from 3pm until 9pm today Monday and Tuesday with Rosary at 9pm each day.

Removal to St Agatha’s Church, Clar on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12noon with interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House private on Wednesday, please. Family Flowers only. Donations in lieu to North West Hospice care of any family member.

Joseph Kane, Drimcoe, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Joseph Kane, Drimcoe, Mountcharles (eircode F94R8D7) in Donegal Community Hospital.
 
Joseph was a member of the teaching staff of AVS Donegal Town. Sadly missed by his loving wife Bried and family, Caroline (Keith), Ciarán, Louise (Pádraig), Joseph (Michelle), Fiona (Darren), Loretta (Daniel), Conor, Claire (Gary), Niamh (David) and 16 grandchildren.
 
Beloved brother of Paddy (Liz), Breege (Joe), Desmond (Mary), Gerard (Geraldine), Danny (Alice).
 
Pre deceased by his parents Joey and Teresa and brothers Johnny (Gretta), Willie, and Peter(Maureen).
 
Remains reposing at his late residence on Tuesday,  January 16 from 1pm to 9pm.
 
House private at all other times and on the morning of the funeral.
 
Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 17 at 2pm, in the  Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles, with burial afterwards in adjoining churchyard.

Margaret Doherty, (Paddy Mór), Middletown Malin Head

The peaceful death has taken place at her residence of Margaret Doherty, (Paddy Mór), Middletown Malin Head.

Remains reposing at her late residence. Funeral leaving there on Wednesday at 10.30am going to the Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Interment afterwards in Lagg cemetery Malin.
Family time please from 10pm to 11am. Family flowers only.

John Quinn, Conlin Road, Killybegs

The death has occurred of John Quinn, Conlin Road, Killybegs.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Agatha, sisters Pat, Ursula, Ann, Claire and their families, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence.

Removal on Tuesday at 10.30am to St. Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Anne Hutton of Elaghbeg, Bridgend

The peaceful death has taken place at Foyle Hospice, Derry of Anne Hutton of Elaghbeg, Bridgend (ex. St. Joseph’s, Westway).

Beloved daughter of the late Ernest and Maureen, loving sister of Mairead, Damian, Dermot, Donal and the late Brian, Michael and Fionnuala and a cherished aunt and grand-aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and all her friends. Remains reposing at the family home, Elaghbeg, Bridgend.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am.

Funeral leaving the family home in Elaghbeg, Bridgend on Wednesday, January 17 at 11.15am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in St. Mura’s Cemetery, Fahan.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if wished, to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry.

Robert Moore, Umricam, Ballyherrin, Fanad

The death has taken place, at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Robert Moore, Umricam, Ballyherrin, Fanad.

Deeply regretted by his brothers William, Charlie and Cecil, his extended family and many friends.

Robert’s Funeral Service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Church in Rossnakill, Fanad at 1pm on Tuesday January 16, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

House strictly private. Family flowers only, please.

Paul McGowan, 7 Admiran Park, Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Paul McGowan, 7 Admiran Park, Stranorlar. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa, his broken hearted children Laura (J.J) and Barry (Natasha). Sadly missed by his sister’s Noreen, Gabrielle (James) and Roisin (Brendan), brothers H.P. (Susanna) Connie (Aileen), Martin (Sinead) and Brian (Andrea), mother-in-law Mary Harper, sister-in-law Charlene (Marty) god children, nieces, and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Pre-deceased by his father Con and mother Mary, uncles and aunts father-in-law Charlie.

Paul’s remains are reposing at his late residence. Morning of the funeral house private to family and neighbours, please.

Mass of the resurrection at 11am on Tuesday at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar and burial afterwards at Drumboe Cemetery, Stranorlar.

Flowers welcome, donations in lieu if so desired to The Irish Cancer Society (Donegal Branch) c/o any family member or McGowan Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the parish webcam.

Henry Farrelly, 16 Castle Ave, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Henry Farrelly, 16 Castle Ave, Buncrana.
Henry is predeceased by his wife Iris, and will be sadly missed by his loving family Billy, Ivor, Leonard, Elizabeth, Grainne, Tara and his sister Susie Nolan.
Henry’s remains are reposing at his home.

Funeral on Tuesday leaving at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, Buncrana for 11am Requiem Mass. Family time from 10pm to 11am.
