The CBM Signs Light Up Letterkenny tractor, truck and car run is going ahead despite the bad weather.

Organisers say tonight’s spectacular celebration of Christmas will be going ahead “hail, rain or snow”.

Registration takes place from 5pm at CBM Signs on the Port Road with the event, which will include tractors, vans, trucks, classic cars, rally cars and motorbikes, getting underway from there at 6pm.

Running for the third year in a row, the event will raise funds for Donegal Hospice and Blood Bike North West.

After leaving CBM Signs on the Port Road, the tour will follow the Port Road, Main Street, Neil T Blaney Road, Polestar Roundabout and continue through the Business Park Road to the Half Way Halt at Pine Hill Industrial Estate where there will be a short regroup here before making its way past Letterkenny University Hospital and returning to CBM Signs.
