Thieves using a white van break into the Naomh Colmcille GAA clubhouse
Officials at the Naomh Colmcille GAA Club in Newtowncunningham are angry today following an attack on their club premises last night.
The club is actively promoting games and community events but is today seething at thefts from their clubhouse.
In a post on its Facebook page, the club hit out at the individuals concerned.
"We would like to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident that occurred last night.
"The clubhouse in our community was broken into by individuals driving a white van. They managed to steal several items, including our lawnmower.
"In light of this incident, we kindly request that everyone remains vigilant and keep an eye out for any suspicious activities or vehicles in the area.
"If you notice anything out of the ordinary or have any information that could assist in the investigation, please report it to the local authorities or any club member."
