The current state of the patheways at Ballyraine Park / Orchard Grove
Funding of €35,000 has now been approved to help improve a walkway for all residents in the Ballyraine Park / Orchard Grove area in Lettekrenny.
Work to improve the pathway surface and implement a raised crossing at Orchard Grove is due to be completed by the end of November.
Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District councillor Donal Mandy Kelly said he had been approached by residents in the area seeking these improvements and is delighted with the news that the path will be upgraded.
"I'm delighted for the residents in the area and I want to thank Donegal County Council for meeting me on the ground and putting a successful application forward," he said
