The Oasis Bar in Letterkenny has been named as the Best Value Pub at the Bar of The Year Awards ceremony - and they beat off competition from Conor McGregor’s Black Forge Inn.
The Oasis Bar was up against Kehoes Pub & Parlour, Wexford; Peadars Bar Moate, Westmeath; The Black Forge Inn, Dublin and Thomas Francis Meagher Bar at the Granville Hotel, Waterford.
In the end, it was declared the Gold winner, with The Black Forge Inn, Co Dublin, which is owned by McGregor, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, taking Silver.
In the Local Bar of the Year category, The Railway Tavern, Fahan, was the Bronze Winner, with Dignam’s Bar, Co Monaghan winning gold and Peadars Bar Moate, Co Westmeath, taking silver.
Amongst the galaxy of contenders, the most exceptional bars have been recognized and celebrated for their extraordinary contributions to the hospitality industry. These establishments have elevated the art of mixology, ambiance, and service, captivating patrons with unforgettable experiences.
After rigorous evaluation and deliberation by an esteemed panel of industry experts, only the best in the industry were crowned winners. The gala awards ceremony was hosted by radio presenter Anton Savage at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin on Monday.
