Anne O'Boyle, (née Slevin) Ratoath, Meath / Ballynacargy, Westmeath / Inishowen

The death has occurred of Anne O’Boyle, (née Slevin)  Drumcarrig, Porterstown Lane, Ratoath, Co Meath and late of Ballinacargy, Co Westmeath and Glengad, Inishowen. July 15, 2023. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Lovingly remembered by her adoring husband Anthony, sons Sean and Matthew, daughter Anna, daughter-in-law Caroline, partners Gav and Maeann, grandchildren Ella and Dylan. Pre-deceased by her infant daughter, Frances. Anne will be sadly missed by her brothers Michael and Eamon, sisters Maura Foley, Ger Keogh, Carmel Slevin and Frankie Doran, sisters-in-law Martina, Rosemary and Bernie, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends.

Reposing on Sunday July 16 at McEntaggarts Funeral Home, Ratoath A85DW27 from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday in the Holy Trinity Church, Ratoath at 12noon followed by burial in adjacent cemetery.

Mary Hegarty, Ardmore, Muff

The death has occurred at her home of Mary Hegarty, Ardmore, Muff. Beloved wife of Charlie; much loved mother of Gerard, Frances, Katrina and Dympna and dear sister of Neil, Jean, Rosaleen, Frances, Kathleen and the late Sadie and James. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sisters, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home this evening Saturday, July 15 from 6pm. Removal from there on Monday morning, July 17 at 10.15am going to Sacred Heart Church, Muff for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining.

Thomas Greene, Beaumont, Cork / Donegal

The death has occurred of Thomas Greene of Rarooey, Donegal and Linden Avenue, Beaumont, Cork, July 15, 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Marymount Hospice 

Dearly loved husband of Catherine and adored father of Gráinne, son of the late John and Rena, beloved brother of Margaret, Johanna, Gerard, Brian, Michael, Eileen and Mary.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and daughter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his sisters residence in Willowbank, Blackrock (T12 YW86) on Sunday, July 16 from 5pm to 7pm.

Cremation Service at 4pm on Monday, July 17 at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

Charlie Anthony McDaid, Drumkeen

The death has occurred, in Letterkenny University Hospital, of Charlie Anthony McDaid, Trentaboy, Drumkeen (F93 Y83V) Predeceased by his loving wife Hannah and son Stephen.

Reposing at his late residence until 10pm today, Saturday, July 15, and from 12 noon - 10pm on Sunday, July 16.

Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Monday, July 17, for 12 noon Mass in St. Patrick's Church, Drumkeen, with burial afterwards in the family plot.

Sarah Doogan, (née Gallagher), Cashelnagor, Gortahork 

The death has occurred of Sarah Doogan, (née Gallagher), Cashelnagor, Gortahork at the Lakehouse Nursing Home, Dunfanaghy. Predeceased by her husband Neilly and daughter Mairead. Sadly missed by her daughters Grace & Theresa, sons; Michael, John, Kevin & Terry, sister Madge, brothers Edward & Joe, in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family & friends.

Her remains are reposing at her home. Rosary at 9pm this evening and on Sunday at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, July 17, at 12noon in Christ the King Church, Gortahork.

Her interment and the interment of her daughter Mairead's ashes will take place in Gortahork cemetery after the funeral mass. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Directors Facebook page and on the parish webcam. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Patient's Comfort Fund, Lakehouse Nursing Home c/o any family member.

Mickey McGee, Falcarragh

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Mickey Mc Gee, Oldtown, Falcarragh. Predeceased by his parents Sarah and Denis, brothers John, Seamus, Pete and Neil, sisters Annie, Mary and Theresa. Survived by his nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.

His remains will repose in Gortahork Funeral Premises with viewing today, on Saturday until 9pm with rosary at 9pm. Removal from there on Sunday for 11am requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Joanne Hegarty, Gleneely

The death has taken place at her home of Joanne Hegarty, Dristernan, Gleneely.

Beloved wife of Francis and much-loved mother of Conor, Keelan, Niall and Shéa. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her loving mother Ann, brother Simon, Mother-in-law Kathleen; nephews, nieces, godchildren and all extended family and friends.

Joanne’s remains reposing at her home. Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of her funeral.

Joanne’s funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, July 16 at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff. Followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.

Frank Shortt, Redcastle

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Frank Shortt, The Old Rectory, Clar, Redcastle.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Sally, sons Jalisco and wife Siobhan (Letterkenny) and Kristian (Seychelles), daughters Natasha and partner Salvatore (Sicily), Zabrina and partner Istvan (Dublin) and Azariah (Derry), sister Celia Duggan (Dublin), grandchildren Reece, Chiara, Fabio, Navarra, Kaymin, Gaetano, Zara, Kristian, Reuben and Abbi and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Frank is predeceased by his infant son Kelly Raphael Bosco. Frank’s remains will be reposing at his late residence, which is private please.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, July 16 at 4pm in St. Columba’s Church, Drung, Quigley’s Point followed by private cremation. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-columbas-drung.

 

Terence Coyle, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Altnagelvin Hospital of Terence Coyle, 63 Mill Brae, Buncrana.

Much loved son of Mary and the late Tony, loving brother of Philip, Kieran, John and Mairead, dear uncle of Michael, Rebecca, Rachel, Aoife and Liam and a dear friend of Mura.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving mother, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, his extended family and many friends.

Reposing at his late home.

Removal from there on Sunday morning, July 16 at 10.15am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 11.00pm to 11.00am and on the morning of the funeral.

Ignatius Farren, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Ignatius Farren, Convent Road, Carndonagh.

Much loved by his wife Anne, daughters Annemarie, Rita and Patricia and son John, son in law, Johnny and daughter-in-law Stella and grandchildren Anna, Marcus and Lara.

Reposing at his son John’s Home, Glasha, Carndonagh.

Removal from there on Sunday afternoon, July 16 at 12.30pm going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Funeral Mass at 1pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 11pm to 11am.
