Jane Baird (née McCarron), Letterkenny

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday April 4, 2023 of Jane Baird (née McCarron), Hawthorn Cottage, Drumnahoagh, Letterkenny and formerly from Lisfannan, Fahan.

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Catherine McCarron. Deeply missed by her loving husband John, son Johnny and his partner Bríd, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Jane’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Holy Thursday April 6 from 6pm until 8.30pm. Removal from there on Good Friday April 7 at 8.30am going to St. Mura’s Church, Fahan F93 ER02 for 10am Funeral Liturgy which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/fahan. Private cremation to take place later.

Phonsie Donaghey (Doe), Buncrana 

The death has occurred at his home of Phonsie Donaghey (Doe), 54 Cockhill Park, Buncrana, surrounded by his loving family. Phonsie will be sadly missed by his son Francis and daughter in law Mel and daughter Grace, his siblings Henry, Margaret, Brian, Nancy, Roseleen, Tina, Breedge, Chantelle, his sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, neighbours and friends Phonsie is predeceased by his parents Henry and Agnes, brothers Seamus, Michael, Patrick, Anthony, sister Maureen.

Phonsie's remains are reposing at his residence. Funeral on Friday, leaving at 10.30am for Service at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Buncrana. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass for Phonsie will be at 11am on Sunday. Family time from 11pm to 11am. Both can be viewed live on https://www.churchservices.tv/cockhill

Kenneth John Houlgreave, Mountcharles  

The death has occurred of Kenneth John Houlgreave, Raneely, Mountcharles.

Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital. Sadly missed by his wife Audrey, and children John, Kevin, Dawn and Peter.

A private cremation will take place on Thursday, April 6 , at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Brid Logan (née Cawley) Townparks, Raphoe / Belmullet, Mayo

The death has occurred of Brid Logan (née Cawley), Townparks Raphoe in the tender care of the Donegal Hospice and surrounded by her loving family, Brid was formerly from Tallagh Hill, Belmullet, Co Mayo.
Lovingly missed by her daughters and son, Sarah, Raymond and partner Elaine, Leeann and husband Marcus, her grandchildren Abaigeal, Sadie, Dylan, Shaun, Lauren and Saoirse. Deeply missed by her brothers Mike, Christy, Tony, Brian and sister May, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all her extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Willie, her parents Brian and Mary, her brother Pauric and sister Margaret, may they rest in peace.
Wake is strictly private please to family only at the request of the deceased.
Funeral leaving her late residence, Townparks, Raphoe on Thursday morning at 10.20am going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for 11 am Requiem mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Owen McCullough, 156, Brookfield Terrace, Malin

The death has occurred of Owen McCullough, 156, Brookfield Terrace, Malin, F93 N5C2. Peacefully, at Letterkenny University Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sadie, and his children Owen (Lifford), Sheila Mc Grath (Tulla, Co. Clare), Susan McLaughlin (Malin), Mary Brennan (Brodford, Co Limerick) and Petra (Malin). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons and daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, April 6, at 12.15pm for 1pm funeral service in St Mary's Church, Lagg, Malin, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family time please from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, to the Coronary Care Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member.

The death has taken place of Kathleen Doherty, 3 Millfield, Buncrana and formerly of Carn, Malin, Malin Head.
Funeral from there on Wednesday, April 5 at 1.30pm going to the Star of the Sea Chapel, Malin Head for Requiem Mass at 2pm with interment afterwards in Lagg Cemetery, Malin.

Charles William Tyrconnell Curran-Kelly Kensington, London / Prospect, Athenry, Galway / Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Charles William Tyrconnell Curran-Kelly, Kensington, London and Prospect, Athenry, Galway / Letterkenny. Most cherished son of Margaret and Phonsie and sadly missed by his brother Richard and sister-in-law Victoria, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Reposed at the Curran home, 6 Prospect, Athenry with later removal to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry (H65 PV27).

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Mass will be streamed live on https://churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on parish radio 106.5 fm.

Eamonn Monaghan, Drimkeelan, Mountcharles

The death has taken place of Eamonn Monaghan, Drimkeelan, Mountcharles. He passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents, Brian and Lelia, his brother Brianey and sister Nora.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters, Mary, Lelia, Sheila, Rita and Anne, his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Removal from Gallagher's Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles  on Wednesday, April 5, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles, for 10am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

The unexpected death has taken place at his home of 5-year-old Kayden Coyle McGeady, Chapel Road, Brinlack.
Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top to his home has taken place.
Wake from 1pm on Wednesday. Rosary at 8pm.
House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral. Funeral Service in Teach Pobail Cholmcille, Cnoc Fola, on Thursday, April 6, at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Jim Kenny, Letterbarrow, Donegal Town. He passed away peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town, surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his brother William, sister Anna (Moohan) and brother-in-law Charlie Moohan. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Brigid, son Martin (Fiona, Letterkenny), Bernard (Colette, Letterbarrow), John (Laura, Letterbarrow) and his grandchildren Kayleigh, Milly, Arianna and Joel, Keira, Eimear and Tom, Grace and Séaghan.
Remains reposing at his late residence.
Removal on Wednesday, April 5, to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Drimarone for 12 noon funeral Mass, with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.

Theo James Crampsey, Scotland / Donegal

A Memorial Mass will take place in St Mary's Church, Bocan, Culdaff, on Easter Monday, April 10 at 11am for Theo James Crampsey, Scotland, who passed away on March 7 aged five.
Loving son of Leann and Finbar, precious brother to Rhys and Aimee, dearly loved by all the family, local and in Ireland.
