There's has also been a flash flooding episode in Glenswilly this evening
The road is flooded at the bottom of Kilmasney Road and it has been covered after torrential rainfall.
Local coucnillor Donal Mandy Kelly has warned anyone driving in the area to take care.
"Thankfully the pipe that I had put in place for the previous flooding is working very well. It has been well tested this evening but is working a treat.
"I have contacted Donegal County Council and they are en route with sandbags should anyone need them."
He urged anyone in trouble to contact him on give me a call at (086) 6666490.
He added a road sweeper was also on its way to sweep the road once the water levels drop.
