Eamonn Burns, The Haw, Lifford 

The death has occurred, March 13, 2023, of Eamonn Burns, The Haw, Lifford.

Husband of Noreen, loving father of Ryan and Sarah, beloved brother of Tommy, Ken, Martin, Terry and Celeine. Predeceased by Barry, Gerard and Marie.

Reposing at the home of his brother Martin, The Haw Lane, Lifford. Remains will leave on Thursday, March 16, at 10.30am, for 11am Requiem Mass at St. Columba's Church, Doneyloop. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and entire family circle.

Gary McGinley, Moneen, Lifford 

The death has taken place March 13, 2023 of Gary McGinley, Moneen, Ballindrait, Lifford.

Much loved father of Cianán, Casey and Sarah, dearly loved son of Deirdre and Louie McGinley.

and cherished brother of Lyndsay and Courtney. Reposing at his home on Wednesday, March 15 from 12 noon.

Funeral leaving his home on Friday, March 17 at 10.45am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church, Murlog at 11.30am

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken daughters, son, mum, dad, sisters, nieces, nephew and family circle.

The house is private to family and friends only.

Danny Walsh, Sutton, Dublin / Dungloe

The death has occurred of Danny Walsh Sutton, Dublin / Dungloe. March 13, 2023 peacefully at home. Beloved husband of the late Terry and much-loved dad of Colette, Gráinne, Danny and Seán. Cherished Gaga to Sorcha, SIneád, Conor, Gráinne, Aoife, Shane, and Áine, great-grandchildren Ollie, Sam, Ben, Summer, Jamie, Dani and Nina.

Will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Cathy, sisters Agnes and Teresa, sisters-in-law Liz and Gerry, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and kind neighbours.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock Friday afternoon, March 17, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Removal on Saturday morning, March 18, to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice on Monday March 13, 2023 of Drew McCrabbe, Mondooey Lower, Manorcunningham F92 FY92.

Predeceased by his mother Isobel McCrabbe. Deeply missed by his loving wife Yvonne, son Gavin and partner Aimee, son JP and partner Chloe, and son Oisin, grandchildren A.J, Ada-Isobel and Emery-Anna, his father Ronnie (Drumatoland, St. Johnston), brother Rodney, sisters Caroline, Cynthia and Tracy, mother-in-law Anna McDaid, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Drew’s remains will repose at his late residence on Tuesday evening until 10pm and from 12noon until 10pm on Wednesday March 15.

Funeral from there on Thursday March 16 at 10.15am going to St. Columba’s Church Drumoghill for 11am Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Mary Fallon (née O'Brien), Cronalaughey, Crossroads, Killygordon

The death has occurred in Hutton, Essex, England of Mary Fallon, nee O’ Brien, formerly Cronalaughey, Crossroads, Killygordon Beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Hannah O’ Brien, and much loved wife of Eddie, dearly loved mother of Caroline (Phil), Yvonne (Malcolm) cherished sister of Angela, Stephen, Patrick James, Sam, Benny, also the late Bridie, Eileen, Susan, Josephine, and Charlotte. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, brothers, sister, sons in law, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Oliver, and Cameron, great-grandchild Bobby, nieces in England, nieces and nephews in Ireland, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family and friends .

Funeral took place in Essex, England on Tuesday, March 14. Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon on Thursday, March 16, at 7.30pm. The death has occurred of Virginia Bowden, Seasons, Donegal Road, Killybegs. 

Predeceased by her husband Jim. Sadly missed by her sons Alan and Richard, daughters-in-law Amardeep and Maeve, grandchildren Eva and Priya, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Remains reposing at Mc Brearty’s Funeral Home, eircode F94R8WR, on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Thursday, March 16, at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Eamonn McLaughlin, 2 Foster Terrace, Moville.

His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, March 15 at 11am in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 5.15pm.

The unexpected death has occurred of Eric Byrne, Roxborough, Kilcar.

Eric is sadly missed by his parents Paul and Rose, brother Cian, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Wake Tuesday and Wednesday until 10pm both nights. House private to family and close friends on the morning of the funeral. The funeral will take place in St.Cartha's Church, Kilcar on Thursday March 16 at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sr Berchmans Doohan, Meath and Derryconnor

The death has occurred peacefully at St Michael's, Loreto Convent, Navan, in her 103rd year, of Sr Berchmans (Nora) Doohan, St Michael's, Loreto Convent, Navan, Meath and late of Derryconnor.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Brigid, brothers Hughie, Johnny, Charlie and Francis, sisters Sr Patrick and Sr Ignacio, she is very sadly missed and fondly remembered by her Loreto community and carers, nieces, nephews and their families in Scotland, Australia, USA and Donegal, in particular Moira Nì Ghallachoir and Paul - relatives, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Her remains are reposing in Fitzsimon's Funeral Home, Navan (C15WD68).

She will then repose at Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, from 2pm to 5pm on Wednesday with removal to St Eunan's Cathedral for prayers at 5.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am, followed by burial in New Leck Cemetery. The Funeral Mass may be viewed on the cathedral webcam.
