Seamus Behan "Aisling" Butcher Street, Lifford

The death has occurred of Seamus Behan "Aisling" Butcher Street, Lifford. February 28, 2023 at the Donegal Hospice.

Beloved son of the late James and Sarah Behan and much loved brother of the late Fr. Hugh Behan.

Reposing at St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford on Thursday March 2, from 5pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, March 3 at 10am.

Interment afterwards in St Mary`s Cemetery, Melmount.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family and friends. Donations in lieu of flowers please to Donegal Hospice

Mai Mooney (née Coyle), Moville Road, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mai Mooney, nee Coyle, Moville Road, Carndonagh.

Retired national school teacher of Bocan and Culdaff.

Beloved wife of the late Benny, and much loved mother of Anna, Paschal, Judy, Maire and the late Seamus, Joe-T and Dymphna.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, adored grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny this afternoon, going her home.

Reposing at her home from 6pm this evening, Wednesday.

Funeral from there on Saturday morning, March 4 at 10.30am going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary (May) Griffin (née Devenney), Drumboe Cottages, Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Mary (May) Griffin (née Devenney), Drumboe Cottages, Stranorlar, Donegal, F93 YFF2.

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Gerry and much loved mother of Larry, Christina, Kenny, Mary (Mc Ginty) Seamus, Ann,(Laverty) Gerard, Tony, Sharon, (Ward) and the late Noel and Martin, cherished sister of the late Jimmy and Patrick.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at her home on Wednesday March 1, from 5pm.

Funeral leaving her home on Friday March 3 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar at 11am. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired to the patients' comfort fund, St Joseph’s Community Hospital, care of any family member.

Patricia O'Halloran, (née Toland), Carricknahorna, Cashelard, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Patricia O'Halloran (née Toland), Carricknahorna, Cashelard, Ballyshannon. Peacefully at Brentwood Manor, Convoy, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her father George, mother Bridget, brother's George Frances, Willie and sister Mary Bridget. Forever remembered by her children Christine (William), Martin (Donna), Margaret (Neil) and Patricia. She was much loved by her grandchildren Naomi, Calum, Dylan, Grace, John, Adam and Shay.

Sadly missed by her sister Theresa (John), brothers Eddie (Jackie), Brendan and Patrick, sisters-in-law Joan and Philomena, nephews and nieces and all extended family and friends.
Reposing at her daughter Christine Dinsmore's residence Glasbolie, Ballintra.

House private at all times, please. Removal on Thursday morning, March 2 to St Mary’s Church, Cashelard for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bernard Harkin, Gaddyduff, Clonmany

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Bernard Harkin, Gaddyduff, Clonmany. He will be missed by his wife Mary his loving children Lenore, Daniel, Lisa, BJ, Gareth, Philip, Grace, Emmet, his cherished grandchildren brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.
Reposing at his residence. Funeral on Friday leaving at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Clonmany with burial afterwards in the new cemetery. Family Time from 10pm to 11am.

Maureen Lynch (née Gallagher), London and formerly of Dromore, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Maureen Lynch (née Gallagher), London and formerly of Dromore, Ballintra. She passed away peacefully at St Thomas’s Hospital, London. Removal from Carty and Gilmartins Funeral Home Kinlough on Wednesday, March 1 at 5pm via Rossnowlagh and Dromore, Ballintra to arrive at St Brigid’s Church Ballintra for prayers at 6pm and to repose overnight.
Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 2 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Simon Nolan, London and Ballydevitt, Donegal Town

The death has occurred peacefully at his home in Shirley, Croydon, of Simon Nolan, formerly of Ballydevitt, Donegal Town.
Predeceased by his parents, Ann and Matthew, he is dearly loved and sadly missed by his wife, Philomena (née McGinty, Townawilly), children, Isabella, Caoimhe, Matthew and Noelle.
Funeral arrangements are to be announced at a later date.

Feargus Ó Raghallaigh, Dunfanaghy, Donegal / Dublin

The death has occurred of Feargus Ó Raghallaigh, Dunfanaghy, Donegal / Dublin.
Died suddenly February 14 at his home in Waikanae, New Zealand, aged 74.

He will be forever loved and sadly missed by Miriam and their daughters Holly and Kate, his siblings Rónán, Éirnín, Dairine, Ultan, Feilim, Tomás and Siún, extended family and his many friends both in Ireland and New Zealand.

Predeceased by his partner Trish and his parents Caitlín and Séamus.
The funeral service will take place in Waikanae on March 7, 11am (New Zealand local time). Service can be viewed online, link here
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, March 12, 3pm, Dublin Unitarian Church, St Stephen’s Green.
