Gardai looking for man after burglary at Letterkenny business

Garda are hunting a man who broke into a business premises in Letterkenny last Friday.

The intruder gained entry to the premises in the Glenview Business Park, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Friday, February 10, at approximately 3.20am.

The front door of the premises was smashed as entry was gained.

It is believed that an attempt was made to open a number of cabinets inside but none of these attempts were successful and nothing was stolen from the property.

A Garda spokesperson said officers are interested in any sightings of a male in the area on foot who was wearing jeans, a trench coat, a beanie cap and a face mask.

The spokesperson said: “If anybody travelled on the road between the hospital and Mountain Top who had a dashcam between the hours of 3am and 4am, we ask them to make the footage available to us.
