Letterkenny Tennis Club celebrates successful Tennis tournament
The Club Chair is ‘extremely happy is extremely happy with how this and other competitions have been going.’
A Senior 500 tennis tournament took place over the last week and ended with a finals day on Saturday, August 1.
Ace Rodriguez was the winner of the senior men's 500 tournament, and Zlata Tsurkan received an award for the senior 500 ladies title.
The club has been running this tournament for a number of years, and it has been growing exponentially.
This year’s event included the participation of almost a hundred competitors.
Club Chair Ms Antoinette O’Keeney noted that the club “is extremely happy with how this and other competitions have been going.”
She also said that “Tennis Ireland recognised competitions are very important to the stature and development of Letterkenny Tennis Club.”
As well as noting the success of this event, LTC now looks forward to the Masters 500 event taking place in the third week of August. Ms O’Keeney and other committee members thank all those who participated in and made this event a great success.
LTC, as always, welcomes new members, and promotional offers are often available. For anyone that is interested, please contact the development officer, Mr Gerry Clarke, on 086 380 9398
