Irish golfer Rory McIlroy remains on track to make history this Sunday night by becoming only the sixth-ever male golfer to complete a career Grand Slam.
As the final round of the 2025 Masters gets underway at Augusta National in Georgia, Irish eyes will once again be fixed on the world number 2 as he bids to win his first Major tournament in more than decade.
For McIlroy, the Green Jacket remains the last piece of his career Grand Slam puzzle. He’s come close before — most memorably in 2022, when he finished runner-up to Scottie Scheffler.
Ahead of the final round of this year’s tournament, the 35-year-old Holywood native is two shots clear of world number 19 Bryson DeChambeau, having shot a six-under-par round of 66 on Saturday - Moving Day.
The final pairing in this year's Masters, featuring McIlroy and DeChambeau, tees off at 7.30pm Irish time.
