Garda probe arson at derelict house in Letterkenny

Gardai believe that a fire at a derelict house in Letterkenny was started maliciously.
The incident occurred in Meadowbank Park shortly after 4.30pm on Friday, March 21.
Gardaí and other emergency services attended the scene.
The fire brigade were on scene to extinguish a fire at the property that is believed to have been started maliciously.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in the area on that date to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
“If anybody travelled with a dash-cam in the area of Meadowbank Park or Long Lane between 4pm and 4.30pm, we ask them to make the footage available to Gardaí.”
