Conor O'Donnell of Donegal is tackled by Mike Breen of Kerry in the All-Ireland final
Conor O’Donnell has been nominated for the final PwC Player of the Month award for his performances in July.
The Carndonagh forward really stepped up to the mark in the Croke Park run and, despite ending in disappointment, was one of the star performers for Jim McGuinness’ men in the All-Ireland final against Kerry.
O’Donnell kicked four points from play in the final, two with his weak foot, as he tried to help the Donegal fight back in the final.

In the semi-final against Meath, O’Donnell was scored the first goals in the game for the side as they put the Royals to the sword, hitting a total of 1-3 as he was awarded the BBC Man of the Match.
O’Donnell is nominated for the accolade along with Kerry duo, David Clifford and Gavin White.
