Katie Dowds in action for Donegal against Armagh in the Ulster final in Clones
The Donegal ladies have been handed a tough draw with Armagh in the relegation play-off semi-final of the All-Ireland Senior Championship.
James Daly's side finished bottom of group 1 after a nine-point defeat to Galway meant it was a straight shootout between Donegal and Tipperary in Bansha on Saturday, with the home side coming away with a 0-11 to 1-6 win.
And they have now been drawn against the Ulster champions Armagh, who were shocked by Kildare in their final group match, also on Saturday, as they finished bottom of the group with one point.
The pair met in the Ulster final back in May, with Armagh easing to a 3-8 to 0-10 victory on the day.
The winners of the match will be safe from relegation, although as provincial champions, Armagh are exempt from relegation.
The other relegation semi-final is an all-Connacht meeting between Mayo and Leitrim.

Both ties take place on the weekend of July 5, with the losing sides meeting the following weekend, where the losers will be relegated to the Intermediate Championship.
