Michael Murphy has been in super form for Donegal since his retirement u-turn

The nominations for the PwC Player of the Month are out with Donegal’s Michael Murphy in the running for the May accolade. 

Murphy was to the fore as Jim McGuinness' men lifted the Ulster title following an extra-time win over Armagh while he was also instrumental as Donegal picked up an All-Ireland series win over Cavan.

Even in the side’s loss to Tyrone in between, the 2012 All-Ireland winning captain was fantastic. 

The Glenswilly man is up against Derry’s Conor Glass and Louth’s Sam Mulroy.
