Ronan Frain shot the lights out as Letterkenny Gaels saw off the challenge of Urris, in Gaelic Park, on Saturday evening, in Division 3.

Frain scored 2-10 in his side's hard-fought home victory over a gallant Urris side, and it took his second goal to finally seal the win for the locals.

Cormac Cannon, Diarmuid O Cathail and Rowan Smith were the other Gaels scorers. Conor Bradley capped a fine performance and top-scored with seven points for Urris. Luke Davy scored the Urris goal, and the corner forward also chipped in with three pointed frees. Luke Devlin and Oisin Cooney were the other Urris scorers.
