It was all too easy for a much superior St Eunan’s side against Dungloe in Convoy on Sunday in the senior hurling championship, with the Letterkenny side placing seven goals past the side from the Rosses.

The losers got the first score through Richie Ryan before the floodgates opened as the Letterkenny men cantered to a half-time lead of 3-12 to 1-3.

St Eunan’s swiftly replied with two goals from Brendan Gaffey with a resurgent Daire O’Maoileidigh, Brian McIntyre, Peter Kelly, John Kealy, and Fearghal Delaney all finding the net.

O’Maoileidigh, McIntyre, and Cathal O’Brien hit a combined total of 0-15 for Eunan’s.

Richie Ryan and Conor Diver got the Dungloe goals on a day when they were overwhelmed by a strong Eunan’s side and were missing the Hartnett brothers.
