Letterkenny Gaels took another giant step on the road to retaining their Division 3 ACFL status with a seven-point win over Robert Emmets.
County man Ronan Frain once again top-scored for the Gaels with five points while Kevin Langan and Rowan Smith capped two fine performances with three points each.
Dylan McNamee and Rory Dalton did the scoring for Robert Emmets with McNamee posting three points and Dalton two.
The Gaels are sitting in eighth place in the league on seven points from their three wins and one draw out of nine games played. They are level on points with Urris who have one less game played.
Robert Emmets with just one win from their eight games played are in tenth place in the table and in relegation territory.
