The GAA has announced that tickets for the All-Ireland final will now cost €100 for a stand seat and €55 for a terrace spot.

These adjustments mark an increase of €10 and €5, respectively, the first such changes since 2019.

For the All-Ireland quarter-finals and semi-finals, ticket prices will also rise by €5, setting the cost at €55 for a semi-final stand ticket and €45 for a quarter-final stand ticket.

On average, ticket prices will go up by about 10 percent, a change that has been anticipated as part of a broader ticketing review. This review also introduces a 'three for two' offer for the All-Ireland SFC group stage.

In 2019, the GAA last raised the price of All-Ireland final tickets from €80 to €90. Prior to that, the last increase was in 2011, when prices went from €70 to €80.

In a statement defending the increase, the GAA explained that the additional revenue will support higher club grants, rising from €3 million in 2023 to €4.5 million in 2024, with a further increase to €5 million in 2025.

The organisation also highlighted other discounts available through Foireann for Allianz league finals and the upcoming preliminary quarter-finals.

However, the recent price hike comes at a time when game attendance seems to be declining, potentially challenging the loyalty of fans, particularly for quarter-finals and finals.
