It’s been announced that Donegal’s clash with Tyrone in the first round of the All-Ireland group series will take place on Saturday, May 25, in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, and will be shown live on GAAGo.

With the conclusion of the provincial championships at the weekend, the focus now turns to the All-Ireland group stages.

Donegal’s penalty shootout win over Armagh in Sunday’s Ulster final means they’ll enter Group Three and their first outing in the group stage will be a home game against Brian Dooher’s Red Hand County.

That will be a repeat of the Ulster SFC semi-final meeting between the sides at Celtic Park while the Orchard County now go into Group One.

The match will be played at 7.15pm.

With this Ulster clash on GAAGo, no doubt there will be some criticism following the controversy surrounding the streaming service at the moment following the issue of Saturday's Munster Senior Hurling Championship game between Cork and All-Ireland champions Limerick which was only available on GAAGO.

The issue surrounding GAAGo has been met with criticism from the Taoiseach Simon Harris who said that the organisation has “gotten this wrong” regarding showing games behind a paywall.

The Tánaiste Micheál Martin echoed the Taoiseach's comments saying; “I've huge concerns about it, I don't understand it, in terms of the promotion of the game.”
