Eilis McGrane, Ballintra
The death has taken place peacefully at the Shiel Hospital, Ballyshannon, in the presence of her devoted family, of Eilis McGrane, née Finnegan, Ballinacarrick, Ballintra, Donegal, F94 E6C9.
Beloved wife of the late John, dearly missed by her loving family Edward, Elizabeth, Peter and Marie, daughters-in-law Isabell and Clare, son-in-law Enda and grandchildren Lisa (Cian), Eoin (Eileen), Eamonn, Mary, William, (Amy), Tom, Oisin, Karl and Cailiosa, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Her remains are reposing at her home, Ballinacarrick, Ballintra F94 E6C9 on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 2pm until 10pm. Family home private on the morning of the funeral please.
Removal on Friday at 10.15 am to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra F94 AP84 for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the Shiel Hospital Patient Comfort Fund, where Eilis was dearly cared for. Donations to Jackie Carron Funeral Directors or to any immediate family member.
Seamus Byrne, Glencolmcille
The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Seamus Byrne, Cashel Glencolmcille, Co Donegal surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mary, brother Stephen and sister-in-law Bríd, he is very sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Michael and Adrian and sister Catherine (Seamus), nephews Olan and Connor. Nieces Chantelle, Athena and Alannah and extended family, neighbours and friends.
His remains are reposing at Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara, F94 A250 on Wednesday from 4 to 6pm, and reposing at his late residence from 7pm to 10pm and on Thursday from 12 noon to 10pm.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday in St Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass will be streamed on the parish webcam.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital and Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.
Kevin Maguire, Mayo and Bundoran
The death has occurred of Kevin Maguire, Dalgan Road, Shrule, County Mayo and formerly 25, Main Street, Bundoran. He passed away peacefully in the care of the Staff at University Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by his wife Bridget, sister Mary and brothers Frank, Enda and Valentine, Kevin will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, his relatives, neighbours and friends.
His remains are reposing at Cradock's Funeral Home, Shrule, H91RF1C on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. Removal afterwards to St. Joseph's Church, Shrule.
Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St Joseph's Church, Shrule followed by burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on the parish webcam and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 FM
David Samuel Patterson, Raphoe
The sudden death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of David Samuel Patterson, Cooladerry, Raphoe.
Beloved son of Ernie and Gloria Patterson; cherished brother of Will (Marie), Bobby (Lynda) and sister Aileen. He will be sadly missed by his nephew and nieces – Harry, Lily, Megan, Georgia and the wider family circle. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law Paddy, who held a special place in his heart.
David's remains will repose at Terence McClintock’s Funeral Home at Ballyboe, Convoy on Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm, where you are welcome to call to pay your respects. The funeral home is private to family only please on the morning of the funeral.
The funeral will be on Thursday, arriving at Raphoe Presbyterian Church at 2pm for Service of Thanksgiving for his life, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Raphoe Presbyterian Church care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director.
Denis Maloney, Teelin
The death has taken place peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family, of Denis Maloney, Cappagh, Teelin.
Predeceased by his parents Francis and Margaret, his brother Patrick Joseph and his nephew Patrick, Denis will be sadly missed by his son Michael, his daughter-in-law Anna, his grandchildren Karina and Adrianna, his brother Francis, sisters Mary Elizabeth, Bernadette, Máiread, Siubhán, and Rosaleen, by Margaret, his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
Reposal continues at his late residence in Cappagh, Teelin from 11am to 9pm on Wednesday. House private to family at all other times and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St Columba’s Church, Carrick followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
