Bernard (Brian) Devlin, Clonmany and Wexford

The sudden death has taken place in Wexford of Bernard (Brian) Devlin.

Beloved father of Shannon and Shane. Dear son of Kathleen and the late Mack Devlin, Boharna, Clonmany, F93W952.

Brother to Susanna (Michael), Denis (Róisín), Michael, Arthur (Sharon), Eileen (James), John, Mary (Eamonn) and the late Kathleen (Jimmy).

Brian’s remains will repose at his family home, Boharna, Clonmany, F93W952 on Thursday, October 2 from 12 midday.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, October 4 at 10.30am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Saint Collumbcille Village, C/O any family member or Comiskey Funeral Directors.

House private, please, from 10pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral. A one-way system will be in operation

Marion Graham, Dunkineely

The death has occurred of Marion Graham, St. Johns Point, Dunkineely.

She passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 30.

Born on the 14th June 1949, Marion will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Robbie, daughters Cyndi (Brian), Sharon (Malcolm) and her loving grandchildren Erin and Amy, sister Caroline and brother John, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, (F94X02N) on Wednesday, October 1 from 2pm until 8pm.

Funeral service in the Church of Ireland, Kilaghtee on Thursday, October 2 at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Gary Gomringer, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Gary Gomringer, formerly of 44, Lisnennan Court, Letterkenny. Sadly missed by family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Gary’s life at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny (F93 XE35), from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday, October 1. Cremation to follow.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to The Residents Comfort Fund, Brentwood Manor, Private Nursing Home, Convoy, in appreciation of the kind and compassionate care, Gary received in his final years, c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Rd., Letterkenny.

Jacqueline Doherty, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Sligo Hospital of Jacqueline Doherty, 3a Cluain Mhuire, Buncrana.

Predeceased by her loving husband Bosco RIP.

Dear Mother of Stephen (Georgina), Grandmother of Ryan, Keenan and Jake Bosco, Sister of Marielaine (Australia) and the Late Terance, Aideen and Jacinta RIP.

At the request of the deceased Jacqueline’s remains will repose at McLaughlin’s Funeral home from 5pm until 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 1 and again on Thursday, October 2 from 12.30pm until removal at 1.45pm to St Mary’s Oratory to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass there on Friday, October 3 at 10am, with burial afterwards in Cockhill graveyard.

Kathleen Doherty, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, September 30 of Kathleen Doherty née Byrne, 15 Derryveagh Avenue, Letterkenny F92 R9WH.

Deeply missed by her loving sons Brian and Vincent, daughters Helena (Christian) and Marie (Martin), Kathleen’s partner Noel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Mary McHugh (Strabane) and Geraldine Coyle (Letterkenny), brother Seán (Carn, Ballybofey), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Packie (1993), daughter Charlene (2004) and grandson Patrick (2015), brothers Vincent, Larry, Josie and Pat, and sisters Eileen, Bridget and Anne.

Kathleen’s remains will be reposing at her late residence on Thursday, October 2 from 12 noon until after the Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Friday, October 3 at 10.30am going to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Kevin McCrossan,  Letterkenny and Milford

The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Kevin McCrossan, Hillcrest Nursing Home, Letterkenny and formerly Bunlin, Milford.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Liam (Eilish), Patricia (Connell), Sheila, Adrian, Celine (Seamus), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, brother Denis and sister Bridie.

Reposing at the Eternal Light Funeral Home, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny, F92 XE35, on Wednesday, October 1 from 4pm until 7pm when those who wish may pay their respects.

Removal at 7pm to St Peter’s Church, Milford to arrive at 7 30pm for prayers and to repose overnight.

Funeral mass on Thursday, October 2 at 11am. Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

Mass can be viewed on Church Services TV St Peter’s Church Milford.

John McDaid, Buncrana

The death has taken place of John McDaid, of 9 Lisowen Green, Buncrana, on September 29 after a prolonged illness.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Hannah; his beloved children; Sharon, Samantha, Julie, and Shaun; and his adored grandchildren; Iarlaith, Rhian, Fionn, Jack, Aine, and Hannah, along with his siblings Gerald, Kieran, Sadie, and Kathleen.

In accordance with John’s wishes, a private wake for family only will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Home, Main Street, Buncrana, on Tuesday, September 30, from 4pm to 7pm.

Remains will repose at St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana on Wednesday, October 1, from 4:30pm to 8pm where all are welcome to pay respects.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated there on Thursday, October 2, at 10am with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to the Irish Cancer Society, c/o any family member.

Margaret McAteer, neé Friel, Fanad

The death has taken place of Margaret McAteer, neé Friel, Doaghbeg, Fanad, Co Donegal, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents James and Mary, husband Willie, and her brothers Seamus, Charlie and Michael.

Deeply regretted by her sons John (Maria), James (Maureen), daughters Sheila (Mark Tierney), Angela (Damien Lynch) and Marie (Marty Mc Ateer) and her adored grandchildren Gemma, Liam, Jamie, Tyler, Kadyn, Michael, Luke, Jake, Shaun, Cormic, Ciaran, Zoe, Clara, Calum, Amy and Lucy.

Sadly missed by her brothers John and Patrick, sisters Annie, May and Sheila her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Margaret’s remains will repose at her late residence (F92T289) from 6pm on Tuesday, September 30.

Removal from there at 11.30am on Thursday morning, 2nd October arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired to Tamney Patient Comfort Fund, care of any family member.

John Joe Coyle, Gweedore and Slough

The death has taken place in Slough, England of John Joe Coyle of Glassagh, Gweedore.

Predeceased by his parents; John and Sarah, brothers and sisters.

Sadly missed by his sister Bridie, in-laws, Patsy, Teresa & Bríd, dear friends, Michael (Dublin) and Naeem (Slough), nephews , nieces and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home Derrybeg, F92 DN4X, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 1, from 4pm until rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 2, at 11am in Teach Pobail Cholmcille, Cnoc Fola, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Don (Daniel) Carroll, Ballybofey

The peaceful death has taken place of Don (Daniel) Carroll, Sessiaghoneill, Ballybofey, F93 C3N2 at Letterkenny University Hospital, Letterkenny, on September 29.

Much-loved father of Maria (Glynn), Amanda, Lorna (Cathal), devoted grandfather to Don, Arron, Reece, Alana, Amy, Tara, and Michealla & partners, devoted great grandfather, cherished brother of Michael, Kathleen, Eunan, Sue, Shaun, and the late Eilish, Liam, and Drew.

Predeceased by his father and mother Danny and Catherine, his wife Josephine, his sons Danny and Paul.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his brother in law, sisters in law nephews, nieces, extended family, and many friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence on Tuesday, September 30, from 6pm.

Funeral leaving from his late residence on Thursday, October 2, at 10.30 am for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s church, Sessiaghoneill at 11am. Interment in the adjoining churchyard.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the parish Youtube channel.

Philip Brogan, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, September 29 of Philip Brogan, Ballaghderg, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, F92 NNK3.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Brian (Yvonne), Martin and Ciaran (Lorraine), daughters Sinéad (Graham), Maria (Barry) and Catriona, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, brother John and sister Margaret Crossan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Margaret, sister Annabell Ward (2006) and brother James Anthony (1962).

Philip’s remains will be reposing at his late residence on Tuesday, 30th September and Wednesday, October 1 from 11am to 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Thursday,  October 2 at 10.15am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live here.

Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny. Family flowers only please.
