The death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice of Peter Paul Ward, Burtonport.
Peter’s remains will be reposing in McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Dungloe on Tuesday, August 19 from 3pm with rosary at 8pm.
Removal afterwards to St Columba’s Church, Acres to repose overnight.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, August 20 at 11am with interment afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery.
Vera Owens, Letterkenny
The peaceful death has occurred of Vera Owens under the exceptional care of the staff in St Eunan’s nursing home, Letterkenny, 41 McNeely Villas, Oldtown, Letterkenny.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Terry, devoted mother to Tara, Kerri (Matthew), deeply regretted and sadly missed by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Patrick and family, neighbours and good friends, pre-deceased by her sons Barry and Terence, brother Nelis, sisters Bobby and Mary-Frances and her parents Nelis and Shelia Doherty.
Vera will be reposing at her late residence from 6pm to 10pm on, Monday, August 18, and from 12 noon to 10pm on Tuesday, August 19.
Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral mass on Wednesday, August 20 at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in Leck Cemetery.

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Kay Molloy, Milltown, Burtonport.

The death has taken place at her home of Mary Teresa (Mamie) McLaughlin (née Catterson), Drumnahaw, Castlefinn and formerly of Owenreagh Drive, Strabane.
Beloved wife of Michael, much-loved mother of Gerard, Catriona, Sinead, Michelle, Theresa and Cecelia and sister of Noeleen and the late Margaret and John.
Reposing at her daughter Catriona’s home, Drumnahaw, Castlefinn on Monday, August 18 from 12 noon.
Funeral leaving her daughter’s home on Wednesday, August 20 at 11.15a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Doneyloop at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, son, daughters, sister, grandchildren, family circle and friends.

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Dorothy McElhinney (née McDaid), formerly of Dr Mc Ginley Villas and 18 Windmill View, Letterkenny.
Sadly missed by her loving daughters Melissa (Patrick), Siobhan (Martin) and Sinéad.
Sadly missed by her sister Eileen Crerand and brothers Jimmy and Noel (Angela) McDaid.
Devoted granny to her grandchildren Annie, Eddie, Memphis, Ownie, Charlotte, T.J and Amelia, nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Pre-deceased by her husband Eddie McElhinney, mother Margaret McDaid (née Dobson), father James McDaid, brother-in-law Edward Crerand and sister-inlaw Mary McDaid.
Reposing at her daughter Siobhan’s residence at 4 Gartan Avenue, Iona Road, Letterkenny (F92 F2AV) from 6pm on Sunday August 17th.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in Leck Cemetery in the family plot.

Masie Connaghan, Churchill
The death has taken place of Masie Connaghan (née O’Donnel), Whitehill, Churchill, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by husband, John and daughter Margaret.
Survived by sons Martin, Frankie, Gerard, Christy and Kevin, and daughter Philomena.
Deeply regretted by her extended family members, neighbours and many friends.
Masie’s remains will repose at the residence of her daughter Philomena, 33 Glencar Park, Letterkenny F92F6CA from 6pm on Sunday, August 17.
Funeral from there on Tuesday, August 19 for requiem Mass in St Colmcille’s Church, Glendowan at 11am, followed by interment in Gartan Cemetery.
Family time from 10pm until 12 noon and on the morning of the Funeral.

Margaret Flood (née Caldwell), Ballyshannon and Donegal Town
The peaceful death has taken place in Sligo University Hospital after a long illness of Margaret Flood (née Caldwell), The Rock, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, F94 CK74 and formerly of Donegal Town.
Margaret is sadly missed by her children, Siobhan, Tracey, Marina, Claire, Celine and Nuala, her sons-in-law Patrick, Liam and Joe, her sister Celene (Danny), her brothers Tommie (Brid RIP), Conor (Charlotte) and Kevin (Eileen); her 17 adored grandchildren Katie, Ruth, Aoibhinn, Caolan, Dearbhla, Tiernan, Diarmuid, Eimear, Beth, Darragh, Ciara, Mollie, Eve, Aoife, Tom, Grace and Jack and her great granddaughter Roisin, and her great friend and sister-in-law Betty.
Predeceased by her parents Tom and Teresa and her siblings Seamus (Maura), Mena (Liam), Gerry (Philomena) and Brendan.
Reposing at her late residence (F94 CK74) on Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19 from 2pm until 8pm.
Funeral to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon on Wednesday, August 20 for Mass of Resurrection at 11 o’clock with service of Cremation in Lakeland’s crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan at 4pm.

The peaceful death has occurred of Lilyan Holmes, née Melly, formerly of The Hill, Killybegs. She passed away peacefully at her home in Edmonds, Seattle, USA surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her infant son Noel and her parents John and Rosaleen, she will be sadly missed by her husband John, sons John (Kate) and Michael, her grandchildren, Jack, John Victor, Freddie and Niamh, her brothers and sisters, Michael, Faustina (Hughie), Fiona and Shane, her much loved Nieces and Nephews, extended family and friends.
Requiem Mass to be held in St Mary of the Visitation Church Killybegs on Thursday at 7pm.
Veronica Behan, Carrigart and Dublin, UK and Canada
The death has taken place of Veronica Behan, née McDarby, Gortnabrade, Carrigart and formerly London, Ontario and Shantalla Road, Whitehall, Dublin. She passed away surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff of the Donegal Hospice.
Predeceased by her loving husband Kevin, brothers and sisters, she will be greatly missed and remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Her remains will arrive at Frank Jennings undertaker Greendale Road, Foxfield, Dublin 5 for repose on Tuesday from 2pm to pm.
Funeral Mass at The Church of The Holy Child, Whitehall on Wednesday at 11am.
Bernard Browne, Bundoran and Mayo
The death has taken place of Bernard (Grandad) Browne, Whitemaple Drive, Church Road, Bundoran, and formerly of Ballycastle, County Mayo. He passed away peacefully after a short illness in the excellent care of all at Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit.
Predeceased by his wife Violet, his parents, his brothers and sisters, and his daughter-in-law Laura; forever remembered and sadly missed by his loving son Gerard, his adored granddaughter Aóise and all his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and extended family and friends.
His remains will repose at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran, F94 E92F, on Monday from 5pm to 7pm. All welcome.
Removal from the Funeral Home at 10.40am on Tuesday to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Removal afterwards to Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan for a committal service at 4pm followed by cremation. Mass can be viewed live on www.magheneparish.ie

The death has taken place peacefully in Áras Uí Dhomhnaill Nursing Home, Milford, of Francie Frank Friel, Steafán), Cashelprehan, Portsalon, F92 E5R9.
Deeply regretted by his loving family, Caroline (Colin), Katrina (Art), Christopher, Jason (Laura), Alan (Jacqui), Michelle and Dessie, grandchildren, brother John, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, He is predeceased by his wife Violet, brothers Denis and James and sister Annie.
His remains are reposing at his home.

Bridie Kernan, Newtowncunningham and Letterkenny
The death has occurred of Bridie Kernan, née Dawson, Newtowncunningham, and formerly of Mount Southwell, Letterkenny.
Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving husband Seamus, her daughter Adrienne (predeceased by Adriano), her sons Anthony (Breid), Barry (Rosaleen), and Mark (Annette), and her daughter Maria (Vincent). She will be fondly remembered by her cherished grandchildren Lucca, Francesca, Laura, James, Jessica, Daniella, Owen, Olivia, Peter, Christian and Daniela.
Her remains will repose at the family home until removal to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday. House private to family only, at the request of the deceased.
