Michael (Mick) Garry, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Michael (Mick) Garry, Rathdonnell, Letterkenny, F92 AV2W, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Roseann and Michael, his siblings Peter, Jim, Jack and Rosemary.

Much loved & hugely missed by all his family, wife Eileen (neé Conaghan), sons Paul & Liam, daughters Michelle & Martina, daughter-in-law Sinéad and sons-in-law Tommy and Garrett.

Fondly remembered by extended family, good neighbours and many friends.

Michael’s remains will be reposing at his late residence today, Wednesday, August 6 from 6pm to 9pm and from 2pm to 9pm tomorrow, Thursday, August 7.

Funeral from there on Friday morning, August 8 going to St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan for requiem mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjacent cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired, to Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member or Charles McClafferty, Funeral Director.

Mary Furey, Glenties

The death has occurred of Mary Furey, The Hill, Killybegs, and formerly of Doobin, Glenties, Co. Donegal, peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving and compassionate care of Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs.

Predeceased by her husband Edward, brothers Patrick and Micheal Hugh, sisters Rose and Bridget and son-in-law John.

Dearly loved mother of Maura (Patrick) and Patricia (John, RIP). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, MaryBrigid, Patricia, Caroline, Hugh, Patrick, Diane, Laura, Shaun, and Eimear, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Brearty’s Funeral Home, Killybegs until 7pm this evening, Wednesday 6th August.

Reposing at her daughter Patricia’s residence, Fintra Road, Killybegs (F94W3W8) tomorrow, Thursday 7th and on Friday 8th August.

Removal on Saturday morning, 9th August at 10.30am to St. Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 11am funeral Mass, which will be streamed live at https://mcn.live/Camera/st-mary-of-the-visitation-church-killybegs

Burial afterwards in Frosses Cemetery.

Denis Duff, Stranorlar

The sudden death has occurred at his late residence of Denis Duff, 7 Chapel Street, Stranorlar and formerly Bramble Close, Baylogh, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Beloved husband of Edna, much loved father to Emma, (Andrew) Daniel (Michelle) and James, (Heather) dearly loved grandfather of Sean, Eamon, Eoin, Shay, Keeva, and Hayley, cherished brother of Helen PJ, (Jean) Brendan, (Maire) and Monica (Pat).

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey F93WR62 on Thursday, August 7f rom 6pm to 9pm. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, August 8 at 12 noon for cremation in Lakelands Crematorium H12RF8, Cavan at 3pm.

Bernadette Logue, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Bernadette Logue, Corvish, Carndonagh F93 AH70.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick Joseph Logue and much loved mother of Andrew (RIP), Michael, Patrick (Sheila), Eileen (Martin RIP), Rosemary (John), Bernadette (John), Bernard, James (Donna), Stephen (Emily) and devoted granny to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Sammy, sisters Kathleen, Roisin, Margaret and Betty, nieces and nephews, wider family circle friends and neighbours.

Bernadette’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN on Wednesday August 6 at 4pm, going to her home.

Funeral from there on Friday, August 8 at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh, followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.carndonaghparish.com. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

John Joseph White, Moville

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of John Joseph White, The Waters Edge, River Row, Moville F93 P68N.
Predeceased by his parents Bernie and Jackie White.

Beloved husband of Bernadette and much loved father of Seán(Louise), William (Maria), James (Clare), Andrew (Mairead), Stephen, Kevin (Jane) and Paul (Tasha) and devoted grandfather of Jack, Daisy, Peter, Seán, Conor, Tony, Noah, Belle, Luna, Jemmia, Charlie, Harry and Paul, and loving brother of Nuala, Patricia (RIP), Lawerence (RIP), Bernadette, Pat (RIP), Lucy, Joan (RIP), Michael and Peter.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, wider family circle friends and neighbours.

John’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN this evening, Wednesday August 6th at 7pm, going to his home where everyone is welcome to pay their respects on Thursday and Friday from 11am to 9pm on both days.

Funeral from there on Saturday, August 9 at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on www.movilleparish.com.

Doris Kearney, Kerrykeel

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Doris Kearney, Main Street, Kerrykeel.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas and son-in-law James Wray

Dearly loved mother of Linda Heron (Ian), Dawn Wray, Ross (Yvonne) and Dexter (Jean).

Deeply regretted by her daughters, son-in-law, sons & daughters in law, her ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, Brother Raymond Love (Francis), Sister Margaret Ramsey (Billy), Sisters- in-law Vera McClean & Ida Corry.

Reposing at her late residence Main Street, Kerrykeel from 12 noon to 9pm, tomorrow Wednesday 6th of August.

Michael Cullen, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has occurred of Michael Cullen at Letterkenny University Hospital, formerly of 23 Hawthorn Heights and of St Eunan's Nursing Home, where he spent the last seven months of his life in the excellent care of all the staff.

Much loved by all his family, wife Monika, sons Greg and Dermot, daughters Angela and Nuala and granddaughters Hanna and Marlene, Greg's partner Claudia, and sons-in-law Harry and Barry.

Pre-deceased by baby infant Karen, his parents Hannah (nee Coyle) and Michael, his brothers Patsy and Neil and his sisters Mary and Anne.

Remains reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top on Wednesday, August 6 from 4pm to 6pm.
House strictly private please.

Requiem Mass will take place at 1pm on Thursday, August 7 in St Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny, followed by burial afterwards in Leck Cemetery.

George McLaughlin, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny on Monday, August 4 of George McLaughlin, Legnahoorey, F92 YA39 and Ballaghderg, Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by his loving daughter Patricia Nugent and husband Clement (Ballygawley), sons Seamus and wife Mary (Glencar), and Danny and wife Máire (Legnahoorey), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

George is predeceased by his wife Molly (1994).

George’s remains will be reposing at Legnahoorey, F92 YA39 from 2pm until 10pm on Tuesday, August 5 and from 12 noon until 10pm on Wednesday, August 6 with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Thursday, August 7 at 10.15am going to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in St. Eunan’s Church graveyard, Raphoe.
