The following deaths have taken place:

Michael J Bonner, Greencastle 

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Michael J Bonner, Hillside, Greencastle F93 K0V8

Predeceased by his wife Mary and much loved father of Mike, Paul, Lisa and Laura.

Devoted grandad of Stephen, Ronan, Shaun, Iain, Ciaran, Nicola, Amy and Luke and Gramps of Orlaith, Anna, Grace, Matthew, Connor, Hayden and Lyla.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters-in-law, Laura and Anne and son-in-law, Robert, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Michael’s remains are now reposing at his home where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there tomorrow morning, Monday, June 23 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack, followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 9pm to 10am.

Rosaline McCauley, Castlefinn

The peaceful death has occurred of Rosaline McCauley (née Crawford), Sessiagh, Castlefinn, Co. Donegal F93 YXY3.

Lovingly missed by her husband Charlie, sons and daughters Karl, Keith (Susan), Adrian (Charlene), Olga (Conor), Niamh (Shane) David (Dolly) her 16 grandchildren, her brother James (Mabel), sisters Kathleen ( Sean Quinn), Bernie (Brian Slater) and all her extended family and friends.

Rosaline was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Crawford, sisters Margaret, Evelyn and Elizabeth, may they all rest in peace.

Rosaline will be reposing at her late residence Sessiagh, Castlefinn, F93YXY3 on Monday, June 23 from 11am until 10pm and Tuesday from 11am until 10pm.

Wednesday morning of the funeral is private to the family, please.

Funeral cortege will be leaving her late residence on Wednesday morning 25th June at 10.30am, going to St. Mary’s Church, Castlefinn for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Doneyloop F93VH90.

Kathleen O’ Donnell, Fanad and Letterkenny

The death occurred on Saturday, 21st of June, of Kathleen O’ Donnell (née Shiels), Portsalon Fanad, at her home at 33 Ballyraine Park, Letterkenny, and previously of Ard O’Donnell.

Kathleen was a retired psychiatric nurse who worked at St. Conal’s hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Pat.

Kathleen will be deeply missed by her daughters Mary (Adrian), Maggie (Ken), Finola and son Daniel, grandchildren Mathew and Ciara, sister Bridget and her nieces and nephews.

She will be reposing at her home on Monday, June 23 from 4pm until 9pm.

Requiem mass on Tuesday, June  24 in Letterkenny Cathedral with burial afterwards in new Leck cemetery.

Hugh Gormley, Raphoe

The death has occurred in Beach Hill Manor, Nursing Home, Buncrana of Hugh Gormley, Magheraboy, Raphoe, Co. Donegal F93 CX46.

Lovingly missed by his daughters Kathleen (Gerry), Mary (Luke), son Michael (Nuala) his grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson all his extended family and friends.

Hugh was predeceased by his wife Nellie and son Hugh, may they all rest in peace.

Hugh will be reposing at his late residence Magheraboy, Raphoe F93 CX46 on Sunday, June 22 from 6pm and all day Monday June 23. Rosary on both evenings at 9pm.

Funeral cortege will be leaving his late residence on Tuesday, June 24 at 8.30am, going to St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana (F93 EY27) for 10am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Cockhill, Buncrana (F93 F9VE).

Seamus McGinley, Fanad

The death has taken place in Letterkenny Hospital of Seamus McGinley (Atty), Ballymichael, Fanad.

Wake will take place in Seamus’ home in Ballymichael from 2.00pm on Saturday, June 21 and on Sunday from 7.30 pm when the roads reopen, with Rosary on both nights at 9.00 pm.

Predeceased by his brother Cathal (Manchester) and sister Kathleen O’Toole (Milford), Seamus will be deeply missed by his brothers Joe (Ballymichael) & Sean (Sydney) & sisters Una Sugrue, Brideen McCarron and Máire Callaghan, nieces, nephews, extended family and neighbours in Ballymichael.

Funeral Mass will take place in Fanavolty Chapel on Monday, June 23 at 11am with burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Richie Crawford, Porthall and Strabane 

The death has taken place at his home of Richie Crawford, 127 Laurel Drive, Strabane, and formerly of the Grotto House, Porthall.

Beloved husband of Maura, much loved father of Aidan (Linda), Darren (Sonya), Carol-Ann (Late Benny) and Connor (Lynsey), dearly loved grandfather of Jamie, Conal, Caolan, Sarah, Casey, Owen, Cormac and Blake, great grandfather of Joseph and Ellie and brother of Eileen, Kathleen, Margaret, John, Gerard, Colette and the late Joan and Paul.

Funeral leaving his home on Monday, June 23 at 9.20amfor Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Melmount at 10a.m.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren,
brothers, sisters and family circle.

Florence McGrath, Burt

The death has occurred of Florence McGrath, 480 Moness Cottages, Burt.

Predeceased by her husband Jim, son Gerald, much loved mother of Margaret-Ann, Seamus, Helen, Kieran, Cathy, Vincent, Shaun, Deirdre, Ursula, and loving sister of Ann McIntyre.

Florence will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters, sons, sister, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her extended family, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at her home. Removal on Monday, June 23 at 10.15am to St. Aengus Church, Burt for requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by interment in Burt cemetery.

Rosemary Keogh, Dublin and Buncrana

The death has taken place of Rosemary (Roma) Keogh, née Holland, Dalkey, Dublin and formerly of Killiney, Dublin, and Buncrana, Donegal. She died peacefully in her 91st year, in the care of Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home, Dalkey and her special carer Nhetie.

Beloved wife of the late Cyril, loving sister of Doreen Mooney; sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 10am in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Castle Street, Dalkey, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome.
