The following deaths have taken place:

- Brendan Keyes, Falcarragh and London

- James McGarvey, Bunbeg and Glasgow

- Liam Kelly, Donegal Town

- Jack Gallagher, Dublin and formerly of Creeslough

- Mary Clare O'Donnell, Portnoo

- Mick O'Dowd, Bunbeg and Sligo

Brendan Keyes, Falcarragh and London

The sudden death has occurred at his home of Brendan Keyes, Ickenham, London and formerly of Falcarragh.

Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Kathleen Keyes, Brendan will be sadly missed by his loving wife Celia, sons Damian and Chris, daughter Amanda, daughters-in-law Jeanette and Gemma, son-in-law Steve and all his adoring grandchildren, his brother John, sisters Ann, Kathleen, Pat and Mary, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Bernadette's Church in Hillingdon on Thursday, May 15 at 11am

Family flowers only please.

James McGarvey, Bunbeg and Glasgow

The peaceful death has taken place surrounded by his loving family in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, of James McGarvey, Glasgow and Magheralosk, Bunbeg. 

Predeceased by his parents, Jimmy and Mary McGarvey, brother Owenie, grandson Seamus Owen, aunts and uncles, including Mary McGeady and Charlie McGarvey. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Rita, son James Anthony (Amanda), daughter Marie Clare (Ryan) and son John Paul (Karen), and his beloved grandchildren, Niamh, Charlie, Liam, Cliona and Lucia, his sister Marion (McGinley), nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In Glasgow, there will be a viewing at Desmond Maguire Funeral Home, 115 Mill Street, Rutherglen, Glasgow (G73 2AW) from 6.30pm until 8pm on Wednesday.

Removal to Christ the King Church on Friday for Mass at 6.30pm.

In Gweedore, James will repose in Roarty’s Funeral Home Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) between 5pm and 8pm on Saturday with the Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will be held in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, on Sunday at 1pm followed by interment in Magheragallen cemetery. The Funeral mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Directors Facebook page https://shorturl.at/47qnx and on the parish webcam https://shorturl.at/tFiez

Liam Kelly, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Liam Kelly, The Mullins, Donegal Town. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his brothers Sean, Martin (Ann), sisters Anne (Ivan), Geraldine (Noel), nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, and Roisin.

Liam’s remains will repose at his late residence The Mullins from 12 noon until 9pm on Wednesday.

Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church Killymard at 11am on Thursday with burial immediately afterwards in The Old Abbey Cemetery.

Family flowers only donations if so desired to The Donegal Hospice care of any family member or Faulkner Funeral Directors.

Jack Gallagher, Dublin and formerly of Creeslough

The death has taken place of Jack Gallagher, Dundrum, Dublin and Creeslough. He passed away peacefully after a long illness with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Pam, he will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by his children Jill, Nigel (Nog), Andrew (Jack) and Lynn, their partners Damian, Jane, Sam and Conor, his cherished grandchildren Tara, Kalen, Leah, Faye, Tess, Natty, Elsie, Alex, Max, Tom and Rúben, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially Mabel and his long standing friends in Rathfarnham Golf Club and Old Wesley Rugby Club

Removal on Thursday morning to Christ Church Taney, arriving for Funeral Service at 11.30am followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross at 1.30pm.

Donations, if desired, may be made in lieu to the Royal Hospital Donnybrook https://rhd.ie/donate-to-rhd/ or the Alzheimer’s Society https://alzheimer.ie/

Mary Clare O'Donnell, Portnoo

The death has taken place peacefully in the loving care of the Donegal Hospice, of Mary Clare O'Donnell, Clogher, Portnoo.

Predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth and brothers Liam, Fred, Finbar and Charlie, she is sadly missed by her brothers Peadar (Sligo) and Eugene Anthony (London), her sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and all her relatives neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at Shovlin's Funeral Home, Sandfield F94N923 on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm.

Removal from there on Thursday at 12 noon to St Conal's Church, Kilclooney for 12.30pm Requiem Mass with burial in the adjoining cemetery. 

Mick O'Dowd, Bunbeg and Sligo

The death has occured peacefully, in Áras Ghaoth Dobhair, surrounded by his loving family, of Michael (Mick) O'Dowd, Bunbeg, Gweedore, and formerly of Ballysadare, County Sligo.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie, he is sadly missed by his daughters Clodagh (Chris), Loretta (Geoff) and Sarah Jayne (Colin), son Marcus (Jacinta) grandchildren Amy-Leigh, Ryan, Callum, Liam, Comhghal, Kian, Tyler, Brían, Cathal and Farrah and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1pm to 8pm, with Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 1pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey (F92 N668), with interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery, Gweedore. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director’s Facebook page shorturl.at/JOfpm
