Death notices for Donegal on Monday evening

The following deaths have taken place:

- Brendan Keyes, Falcarragh and London

- Mick O'Dowd, Bunbeg and Sligo

- Hughie O Donnell, Dungloe

- Donnchadh Eddie Ó Duibheannaigh, Ranafast

- Kieran Boyce, Glenties and New York

Brendan Keyes, Falcarragh and London

The sudden death has occurred at his home of Brendan Keyes, Ickenham, London and formerly of Falcarragh.

Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Kathleen Keyes, Brendan will be sadly missed by his loving wife Celia, sons Damian and Chris, daughter Amanda, daughters-in-law Jeanette and Gemma, son-in-law Steve and all his adoring grandchildren, his brother John, sisters Ann, Kathleen, Pat and Mary, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Bernadette's Church in Hillingdon on Thursday, May 15 at 11am

Family flowers only please.

Mick O'Dowd, Bunbeg and Sligo

The death has occured peacefully, in Áras Ghaoth Dobhair, surrounded by his loving family, of Michael (Mick) O'Dowd, Bunbeg, Gweedore, and formerly of Ballysadare, County Sligo.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie, he is sadly missed by his daughters Clodagh (Chris), Loretta (Geoff) and Sarah Jayne (Colin), son Marcus (Jacinta) grandchildren Amy-Leigh, Ryan, Callum, Liam, Comhghal, Kian, Tyler, Brían, Cathal and Farrah and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1pm to 8pm, with Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 1pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey (F92 N668), with interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery, Gweedore. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director’s Facebook page shorturl.at/JOfpm

Hughie O Donnell, Dungloe

The death has taken place surrounded by his loving family, of Hughie 'Eily' O'Donnell, Falmore, Dungloe, County Donegal, F94 F9K7.

Hughie is predeceased by his loving wife Ellen, his parents Manus and Bridgid O'Donnell and his brothers Michael and Packie. He is survived by his heartbroken family, his sons Michael and Jim (Marie), his daughters Breege (Tom), Anne (Thomas) and Tina (Fergus), his brother Manny (Peggy), his sisters Mary and Annie, his 16 grandchildren, his great granddaughter, his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Hughie's remains reposing on Monday from 4pm until rosary at 8pm at McGlynn's Funeral Home, Dungloe, F94 ND68. Removal at 8pm to his family home at Falmore, Dungloe, F94 F9K7 at 8pm where he will be reposing until 10pm, and from 11am until 10pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 8pm. House private to family on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from his home on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 1pm at St Patrick's Church, Meenacross, Dungloe, F94 PR90 with burial immediately afterwards in Maghery Cemetery.

Donnchadh Eddie Ó Duibheannaigh, Ranafast

Fuair Donnchadh Eddie Ó Duibheannaigh as Carraig a Choill, Rann na Feirste bás in Otharlann Leitir Ceanainn.

Déanfar é a fhaire sa bhaile i Rann na Feirste (F94 RW02) Dé Luain ón 12 - 8 a chlog agus arís Dé Máirt ón 11- 8 a chlog. Déarfar an paidrín an dá oíche ag a 8 a chlog.

Cuirfear é sa reilig úr in Anagaire, Dé Céadaoin an 7ú Bealtaine, i ndiaidh Aifreann 11 a chlog i dTeach Pobail Réalt na Mara Anagaire (F94 KO22).

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Donnchadh Eddie Ó Duibheannaigh, Carraig a Choill, Ranafast.

Predeceased by his parents Eddie and Nuala, sister Sarah, brothers John, Joe and Frank, he is survived and sadly missed by his wife Kathleen Devenney, daughters Fionnuala (Paul), Mona (Hugh), Carla (John), sons Joe (Maureen) and John Jude (Anne Marie), 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home in Ranafast (F94 RW02) on Monday from 12pm to 8pm and on Tuesday from 11am to 8pm, with Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after Rosary and on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry (F94 KO22), with interment afterwards in the new graveyard. The Funeral mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Directors Facebook page  and on the parish webcam

Kieran Boyce, Glenties and New York

The death has taken place of Kieran Boyce, Chester, New York, and formerly of Glenties.

Husband of Deirdre for over 30 years and a loving father to Joe and TK; beloved son of the late Josie and Bridge Boyce; sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Pauline, and Gina; predeceased by his sisters Finola and Ann, and his brother Aidan. He will be remembered by his extended family, friends, and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950, followed by cremation at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY. The funeral service will be live-streamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/kieran-boyce
